but you seem not to get the point, because it doesnt coinside with your views,
that you repeat the same claptrap over and over again ad nauseum.
You have done the exact same thing. Pot meet kettle.
It's quite simple. If no results are achieved, you can either drop it, or you can continue asking until you achieve something. I don't like dropping complaints that I feel legit, and so I don't. It's really that simple.
We have been promised a change. This means something was wrong.
If no one raises his voice, change will never come.
agreed, but raising your voice and repeating the same arguement over and over, with no result, has to register something, doesnt it?
as said over and over, they are doing what they can , how they can , when they can.
and all your crowing and spouting isnt making things better, faster, or different.
things take time, no matter how we wish they would "change" faster.
you have intelligence, this youve shown, you have to reconize this as truth.
want all you wish, it doesnt make things change or happen any faster then they happen.
edit: really, you and sarah need to come up with new "catch " phrases.
kettle calling pot and so on are over used by you 2 now.

The "no result" part happens to be quite debatable, doesn't it?

either you are satisfied with the results, and need not go on about it.

Yeap. Delaying the first DLC 3 times wasn't the best way from them to give my money so easily from now on. Bioware or not.GorKahn wrote...
No kettles or pots here just thoughts. Since buying into RTO over a month ago with no relief insight does help me to question future project and releases. I doubt that I will buy into another one without knowing it works and is out in the future.

Holy pretentiousness batman! I could have sworn folks agreed already they agreed to disagree. Personally I am happy with the results if in the future a similar situation is handled better with a quicker response time. Which in the grand scheme of things should make everyone happy. Regardless of what side of the arguement you happen to side on.

Simply put. Not having access to databases and whatnot should not stop you from digging up additional information that can be released and posting it in a timely fashion. Even if it requires the standard disclaimer of "This isn't a promise or a guarantee", which pretty much everything should be announced and taken that way unless it is done.
Edited for bad cut/paste formating
Don't worry, not taken the wrong way, the easiest way to put this, is the fact there are so many different areas of management/directors, that to compile all the info wouldn't be a "Quickfix".
And please don't think I'm trying to deflect any hard feelings away from this, it's just tiring ya know?
From what I can tell, Bioware is trying to extend the life of Dragon with Downloadable content. Not much different from what an MMO does between expansion packs (I play a lot of World of Warcraft). Of course unlike an MMO, we only pay for the content but not a subscirption. Now the reason why I make that comparison is largely because updates are one of the best ways to keep peoples interest in something. While they are not a subscription based MMO, the idea is generally the same, to provide additional content to extend the life of the original product, thus with the extremely nice benefit of bringing in more income. Problem with this strategy is, if you are not going to provide, or are unable to provide new content, then you need to do something to keep peoples interest in the product that is available, even if they are not actively play in it. A good way to do that is to keep it on everyones mind. Problem is, that only delays the inevitable loss of interest people are going to have in the product.
As far as internal communication is concerned though, I do understand how much of a pain all that communication can be. Having worked at Intel on and off for a while now, I have gotten used to how a company can work. At one point I was in validation, and was responsible for keeping test procedures upto date (going for XP to prerelease Vista - this was yuck on so many levels), and redirecting test results to the right areas (ie third party software/hardware, Windows, or Intel hardware/software). We also had a team in Asia, of which I am not bilingual, nore did I have a bilingual person readily on hand. Yeah, communication was a mess, but I still got my job done. So I do understand how it can be hard, especially when you are dealing with multiple teams.
But having said all that, I also have to say that in this case I am a consumer first, and I need my fix.

They have been for a while. What I wrote today was just a reply to someone that barged on the thread insulting the intelligence of everyone that dared to question bioware's actions
I STILL think that an apology would be in order, given that the only apology I see was directed to 360 users, like they were the only ones affected, It'd be, at the very least, a sign of good will and of the fact that they know that they screwed up badly in front of their customer base.
But alas. If better communication AND a well warranted public apology is not an option, between better communication with no apology and nothing, i will (begrudgingly) chose the former. It's definitely better than nothing.
I can only HOPE that Bioware will have the humility to learn something from this communication debacle (the communication part is much more serious, in my opinion, than the actual performance issue). They will definitely need this learning experience when they'll tackle the MMO market, unless they want their KOTOR mmorpg go the way of the dodo.
