*sigh* which..if you give Bioware credit for any intelligence probably doesn't need to be repeated 24/7 for a month to get the message across..from the same people.   I can see other posters come on here and ask questions..about delays etc  But you two sit here all the time, ready to pounce should anyone say anything positive or offer an alternative opinion.

I'm sure you might undersatand that an humongous wall of text full of platitudes, ego-drooling trips, insults and personal attacks, not to mention caps-lock abuse isn't exactly "positive" or an "alternative opinion".
Though, you were quick to support it anyway. Too bad, you missed a chance to show some balance there.

Since when do I post walls of text?  The only ones I usually see are from you. :D

He was meaning Poisd2Strike's tirade.

While I don't agree with every point he and Sarah make, I don't disagree with all of it either. As far as I am concerned, if Bioware had actual concerns over the pc dlc, it would take them but a moment to come here and say so, basically squashing 50 % of the posts or so, which would in turn then squash the other 50% or so. but they haven't.

Simple question is why not unless they know that there are not? Or they don't want to say there is not and have someone prove them wrong (say a disgruntled employee for example).

I love Bioware as much as, if not more than, most people do. I believe in them far more than I do in Blizzard (even before Activision got their grubby paws on them) as Bioware have always made quality games and been responsive to their fanbase. And this gives them a lot of leeway in my book. But they have let us down on this release, or lack-thereof.

While the same arguments may be regurgitated back and forth, newcomers to the thread tend to be more on the side of Bioware than not, which is fine if they want to think that; but to ignore what is a plausible explanation in the simultaneous agreement is rather naive. And then to attack anyone who suggests it is far worse. I am not saying Abriael and Sarah don't throw stones, but more and more their posts are in defence of their belief rather than trying to force their views down as gospel as they are often accused of.

Bioware can't really complain about the state of this thread or the other ones on forum when they could have nipped this in the bud a long time ago. I can confidently say if they told us that there were some bugs in the dlc that some pc testers were experiencing, people would have, for the most part, dropped this issue long ago.

God this hate war just makes this more frustrating.Im so tired of this crap. Why oh why so much fuss for just a freaking hour of DLC?Im not talking specifically about the "complainers" but this whole mess.I think we have a right to voice our frustration.I used to be calm and patient about the whole thing but my patients is wearing very thin with nobody giving us any information.

*sigh*I need to go do something to take my mind off this.

Let the hate post towards my post begin!

The fun part is that I feel the same (short of the Blizzard part, I always hated Blizzard with a passion, replace it with Square-Enix even if they started to let me down lately). If i'm here asking them to step up on their game is exactly because I care. If i didn't I'd be crunching more hotlaps at Forza 3 (well actually I AM, but multitasking is cumbersome) now, or in bed :police:

Well, I have to voice mine. I have been patient. I understand delays happen. But I am tired of trying to hold off playing so I can fit RtO into my story. I admit I tend to treat DaO like a choose your own adventure book where I write the story. I am missing a piece. *sigh* Trying not to get mad or squirm too much, but really am getting tired of the wait.

My guess is that two factors are in play: 1) They really did find a huge issue with their testing project and they wanted it fixed and fixed good so they can move forward more confidently; 2) They're heavily focused at the moment on the Mass Effect 2 roll-out, and you have to admit that their DA:O customers are already bought in. It's a mixture of wanting to do things right and having priorities in your development/release cycles. I'm disappointed, sure, but I get it, and I can keep myself occupied in the meantime.

DA:O is developed by Bioware Edmonton. Mass Effect 2 is developed by Bioware Montreal, so it's unlikely that Mass Effect 2 is influencing in any tangible way the development or RTO. That of course, unless they're intentionally delaying RTO to get it out when the ME2 release craze is done. Of course I definitely hope this is not the case...

Not really, given that the post clearly talked about her backing up the insulting caps-abusing wall of text, not writing it herself.

I'm sure you'll realize that you've done exactly what you just described for weeks.

Funny part is that in the whole thread you're probably the one with the most trollish tones and the least constructive posts. You've done nothing else than posting line upon line of velied (or not) insults and personal attacks to whomever dared to criticize Bioware or to ask for more communication. Great contribution, really.

Blizzard is a love/hate relationship. They gave me Diablo and Diablo II (and to a lesser degree Starcraft) and I have some great memories of 36 hour gaming sessions of D2 over LAN; so for that I will be eternally grateful. And I hope D3 is a continuation of that. but do I hold them in anywhere near the same regard as I do Bioware? Nope.

Although at the moment I really need to work on my ME1 characters because I told myself I wouldn't play ME2 until I had a character to port over. Only the other day did I realise that all the characters and acheivements (to unlock the bonus talents) I had done were on a different live account :crying:

Eh the biggest problem i had with Diablo was the massively simplistic story, that in the end turned it (at least for me) in simply mindless hack and slash for too many levels to be counted.
That's why i liked Record of Lodoss War for Dreamcast quite a lot. It was basically Diablo (you can call it almost a clone), but with a great story to back up the gameplay

I think considering the DLC costs 400msp which is overpriced it should be lowered to at least 250msp considering how short it is and with all this going on for such a small piece of DLC.

In view of this considering it is a very short small piece of content what will the expansion be like??

I also wish the same approach was taken with KOTOR and imo still the best RPG by you guys at Bioware, Mass Effect 1 and 2 don't even come close.

Honestly I wish people would stop going into days long debates in a thread that may be a good way to get info on the DLC. Hate having to read through all the bull just to see if there is any new info.

Ah, that is kinda what forums are for. If you just want important info click the blue bioware buttons and all you see is mod/developer posts.
