Ok, so for a project I'm working on I want to learn now to make new clothing and possibly weapons (not just recolored), Adapt clothing from DA2, and new face tatoos. I've never done 3d work before but I'm willing to learn! I can't seem to find any tutorials however. So um.... Where do I start?

Probably the easiest way to get acquainted with the Toolset (and if I recall correctly you've already created a new module) is to create a new Headmorph and get it into the game.
A quick google search brings up the following tutorial:
http://social.biowar..._morph_tutorial

If you're going to use a 3D program, you'll need to install Eshme's plugin for 3DSmax and Gmax (a free graphics program) in order to import and export Dragon Age usable models.

Aside from that, I'm sure if you search using the right keywords you'll find many tutorials out there for what you want to do.

In the Toolset General forum, there's a stickied post you may find helpful
The Toolset doesn't have to be hard!Noob-friendly video guides for the Community.... which includes links to tutorials by mikmike37.

Thank you! that is very helpful. It does not list clothing or importing from DA II though. Do you know where I might find any of that?

That would require advanced modeling and toolset experience. You could try the Nexus forums where a few modders actually managed to do it. I found this thread as a start. Try the first link in the reply at the bottom.
