The first kit i've started carrying with was Krogan Sentinel (Can you imagine the days, when Liftnade was bull****, and Disruptor Falcon + Incinerate was an actual way-to-go?)

Twas the golden age of FBWGG and I was a camper.

Infidrell, still the easiest one for me to carry with, when necessary. Next easiest would be Edibot and TGI (infiltrators, shocking, I know), and I can now mostly carry gold with kroldier, hudept, and Asari Valkryie/N7 Fury. For some reason, I STILL can't GI worth anything, even though it's such a powerful class.

On a decent team with at least one pretty good player? Just about anything, though I will still mostly stick to tried and true classes to not be a drag on the other carrier.

I always used Krogan sentinel or vanguard when I first moved up to gold. Did not want to spend most of the time dying trying to play with squishy characters.

GI and DA. Huge potential dps teaches you to actually start doing some dps and low survivability teaches you how to survive.

Mine would be Justicar, Human Engineer, and Huntress, in that order... Yeah, everytime I moved up, I go back down... I can never seem to stick to gold!

Back in the day, before all the new DLC, I moved to gold with Justicar + Graal, and JigglyBumBum + Claymore (1).

Both are(were) survivable, good damage, with a stunning power for headshots.

Now there's probably better kits and weapons to try with, but at the time that was what i had, and served well.

I made the move to gold early and rarely came back except for leveling up characters cause I was such a newbie I did not know to buy recruits for that stuff. My kit of choice was the SI with a mantis and later a valiant. Then I got the GI with phirana combo and started carrying bad gold lobbies. The good old days man.

QMI with the Claymore was probably my gateway to gold. Polished my skills with the Drell Adept and Carnifax.

Yeah very first DLC so back in the day.  She was my first Gold character kit  had to farm Bronze to get her with the special Resurgence Pack for that weekend.  Got the Geth Eng in the second one.

Just play with whatever kit you are comfortable with + use consumables

Hmm.. I was first playing succesfully with the Salarian Engie, then Geth Inflitrator. Next i played some Humand soldier, N7 Destoyer. When i moved to gold exclusively it was with the vorcha hunter. Now i play the tanky geth trooper.

Back then, QFI + black widow, melee GI + Claymore, and Drell adept + Paladin.
