When playing Awakening with the Orlesian Warden, what are the 'default' storyline choices from Origins?

I'm interested in playing Dragon Age: Awakening using a brand new Orlesian Warden instead of importing a data, and I was wondering what some of the 'default' choices there are, such as:

Who rules Ferelden? Alistair or Anora?

What happened to the Dalish/Werewolves?

What happened to Connor?

Y'know, things like that.

I know Alistair is king, though whether he's king WITH Anora or just king alone, I don't know. The other stuff I don't recall being brought up in conversation with my Orlesian warden, but it has been a long time since I played.

According to Gaider, the 'default' ending to DA:O is an Ultimate Sacrifice female Dalish Warden.

Short of playing DA2 with no import, however, I dunno about the other default choices.

The no-import ending to DA2 is supposed to be a mage who sided with the mages.

The default story is a human Noble who does the Dark Ritual in DAII so I don't know what Gaider means.

In Awakening, if the Warden dies, it's the Dalish Warden though.

I think you'd need to play DA2 with an Orlesian Warden import from Awakening to answer OP's questions most fully.  The Origins choices are mostly not referenced in DAA.
  • Alistair's on the throne, Anora's status unclear
  • The dwarven stoneworkers ought to mention who the king of Orzammar is... unless they punt and just mention 'the king'?
  • Does Velanna have dialogue with an Origins Warden who killed the Dalish?  I've never heard that she does - but if she did, the presence/absence of that might indicate what happened with the Dalish/werewolves.
You could import an Orlesian Warden into Witch Hunt to determine whether or not the undead sacked Redcliffe.  (The world map interface has mouseover notes.) Dunno if it mentions templars/mages for the Circle?

But I think you'd have to go all the way to DA2's 'Mark of the Assassin' to find out whether or not Isolde lived or died.  There are side quests in DA2 that trigger based on the werewolves/Dalish quest results and the Bhelen/Harrowmont decision, so you'd learn that, too.  I also couldn't tell you if Ser Cullen mentions the templar/mage decision in DA2, but his fan thread probably can.

As far as I know, the fate of Br. Genitivi and Andraste Reborn are never brought up.

There were three defaults to choose from in DA2, Human Noble who did the Dark Ritual, Dalish Elf who did the Ultimate Sacrifice, and Dwarf Noble who let Loghain do the Ultimate Sacrifice.

In Inquisition it's only going to be the Dalish Elf.

When I first purchased DAII, I didn't chose anything, and it was simply default. You can choose, but I did not and it was set as that.Hence me saying, default.

And in Inquisition, I believe that they said that they would still have more than one default story.

Playing Awakening with an Orlesian Warden generally causes people to fudge the details. For instance, where a dwarf will mention "King Bhelen" or "King Harrowmont" on an import, they'll just go "our king" or "the dwarven king". Alistair, however, will be the one who greets you at the Keep -- which means he's king, with or without Anora.

Don't know what happens if you should import it into II.
