What we really need in the next MP.

We need levolution!!


Hi folks, this is levolution in case you don't know.



an amazing feature they are adding on BF4.

But you might now ask me, but what does this have to do with Mass Effect?, Well, Battlefield 4 and the next Mass Effect will have the same engine, Frostbite 3.


That means the posibilities of new features like this one on the next game are possible and even more.

So devs, if you are reading this, please, take this in consideration, because it would greatly improve the gaming experience.


So bsn, stuff like levolution, enviromental destruction, hazardous weather among other things are possible in the next mass effect thanks to its engine.

Now, if you haven't seen the video then please watch it, you won't regret it, probably.

Please, tell me what you think about levolution being added to the next Mass Effect ( MP ) and what other things you would like to see in the next multiplayer game.


And yes, this is absolutely MP related, so tell me the things you want to see on the next MP, mainly now that you can imagine the huge amount of possibilities we can have.

Dynamic maps in ME4 MP would be awesome.

But should map manipulation be exclusive to the players or should the AI get in on it?
Ex: Brute/Atlas-like enemy crashing through cover to get at players.

I think we should have both, Coop PvP, and Co op agains IA, i don't know i'm open to all posibilities.

I also was thinking in Co op missions in MP on big maps, and we have to either infiltrate inside enemies base and hack data or kill assasination etc etc, just imagine a huge map more or less like any borderland map, with vehicles and enemies bases, and we get missions and stuff.

Also i would like to get access to the store from in-game.


And also co op PvP where teams kill each other. :P

As I said i'm open to all posibilities.

I'm down. Environmental destruction would help kits like the Juggernaut and Warlord feel like the powerhouses they are.

All I know is if Bioware can pull off what DICE has with the Frostbite 3 engine for ME4 SP/MP they can take all my money.

Red Faction was doing massive environmental changes way back on like the PS2.

OT, in short this is nothing but marketing. What they are selling is dynamic environments, which the industry has been doing for years. While these all seems real cool, it's mostly just flash.
For the topic of ME, it would not work the same. The idea is that BF has PvP combat in a large environment with longer matches. The level of dynamic changes is to create variety over a longer period of time, mostly through options that create very short term advantages rather than significant battlefield changes. ME is wave based cooperative combat. This sort of system would be flawed as only one side of the conflict would be strategizing. Games would quickly boil down to the ideal map formats that players would exploit on AI enemies not intelligent enough to adapt to the changes.

In short, this is a pretty gimmicky concept that has existed for years and would not have a significant positive influence on design.

Token brings up some good points, but that's all provided the game remains the same as it is right now.

I'm hoping ME4's MP has much greater variety to it than simple hoard mode.

Edit: To be clear, i'm all for destructible environments. Imagine what Biotics could do with chucking crap around and such.

Yeah, I think they'll change up quite a few things come next game. The biggest change I'm hoping for is the enemy AI. If they can't make them smart enough to react to a changing environment and pose a challenge to a team of 4-6 players without blatantly cheating/being OP as ****, I don't want them to waste any time on levolution, which is a stupid name, btw.

Still, I'd love for them to be able to do both, and more.

I really liked the whole turning the lights out and using NVG part... That might not matter vs bots though (Hazard Dagger).

Only thing i want in ME4 is destruction. Which can be used as both tactical advantage and disadvantage and also just for the looks.

Game won't use Unreal Engine, so everything will be different.

To be quite frank, a new engine means everything has to be redone. Which translates to, Bugs ahoy!

Game won't use Unreal Engine, so everything will be different.

Man if that happens, BW can take all my money. Biotic characters would become a lot more popular.

Agree with this. Other features like destructible environments are nice, but really more modes is key.

Also if there is same kind of character build tree, please make it so that your choices matter.
