"Levolution"
That's got marketing department written all over it
OT: Destructible environments are cool I guess; but as others have said, I'd be interested in lots of other changes before that.

I hate marketing.

But if we get dynamic enviroments they better give me the option of collapsing a 10 ton tower of metal and wires on top of my goddamn teammates.

Because sometimes you just want to show them just how much you HATE THEM!!

I'd be psyched, although come to think of it, not too many events in ME MP are going to cause sufficiently large explosions against walls and buildings. That might put a damper on things if for no other reason than because the vehicles in battlefield are responsible for a lot of the environmental destruction.

Now if they added a usable Mako or two, THAT would be a different and significantly more awesome story.

More dynamic and interactive maps would be really great for ME4.

Different modes is the big one I guess
I also wouldn't want destructable environments if we were going to get that in lieu of more maps

I would worry about destructible environs becoming a standard tactic on each map. It would take a lot of play testing for balance reasons. I'm not against it by any means but they would have to be careful how it was implemented.

Probably not a viable thing for this type of game but random maps would be good or perhaps the same base map but random things in each map.

True.

In case of being implemented it has to be done carefully, but if they do I rather have it as a usable feature rather than a to go thing.

Hazardous weather is another thing that comes to my head that would be awesome, and I don't mean like the ones we have now, I talk about really dangerous weather that could screw up the entire mission if the team dont play carefully.

For example heavy snow storms in places like Noveria with enough power to destroy or frozen vehicles and stuff like that.

Being able to flood the map, etc etc etc.

Just like Halo fans, ME fans seem to be getting their hopes a little high. Unless the dev cycle is ludicrously long, we're gonna get an upgraded version of ME3 with more bugs due to Bioware's unfamiliarity with the Frostbite Engine.

On topic: It'd be neat if there was PvP. Other than that, nah.

the matter of bugs was actually because of unreal engine i believe, even epic have lot of bugs on their own games and it's their engine.

I'm sure next game will have way less bugs than we did with Me3.

what I would want is the ability to build and destroy barriers and walls, place turrets and timed explosives, use manned turrets, vehicles, remote controlled drones, hack terminals for strategic bonuses and not just objectives, create biotic barriers, slow fields, the ability to lift objects and teammates (imagine levitating up a wall to flank the enemies).
Edit. grappling hooks, tripwires, shuttles I can fly myself, dual wielding, a glue gun, radar installations, using the omnitool fabricators to make ammo and grenades from things found on the battlefield, etc.

That seems to reinforce my point. If Bioware isn't familiar with the Unreal Engine by now (it's been used for all the Mass Effect's, correct? Too lazy to check right now.) then switching to Frostbite 3 would expose the developers to a new engine that they might not be familiar with. This would probably lead to poor coding, which leads to bugs. Besides, games like COD and Battlefield still have a lot of bugs, and COD's engine is even named after one of the studios that makes it (at least it was). Just because it's "their" engine doesn't mean the devs know it inside and out.

I'm not expecting some bug-free-utopian-paradise of a game, but I'm just saying that unless Bioware is given time to work with Frostbite 3, we can expect to see a lot of bugs. Adding things like Levolution would only add another complicated mechanic that could be bugged to crap. Besides, we don't even know if Levolution is going to be a good thing for BF4. It looks cool, but we need to wait and see how it affects the game before saying it should be included in other games.

If that ever gets added, I want to be there when Ziegrif drops a tower on some PUGs. The destruction and mayhem and RAGE would be glorious!!

What is this levolution garbage? Pre rendered explosions? Car alarms? Closing a train door with a press of a button, what? Are they f**** serious? This stuff is like 20 years old.

I don't know of any FPS games that allow you to do half the stuff they're doing while in a PvP environment.

If there are any, however, feel free to name them and i'll agree with you.
