Perhabs this is the masculine side of me thats writing up this thread, but right after I finish playing DA: O with my first charecter I was already emotionally involved in the story. My charecter fallen in love with Morrigan who later saved my life but it came at a big cost knowing that I will regret it later in my Wardens life. Now I'm reading the credits still in RP mode (even in OOC the song forces me to sqeeze out a tear) with sad music playing in the background and I can't help but to produce some man tears from my eyes, and I'm not the kind of person who would produce a tear over a PC game.  Same goes for DA2.

BioWare no teary credits music, please! :) Put some heart pumping music on instead :)

No, I hope they keep them: The themes used at the end of both DA were beautiful.
Still, I suggest you to play Transformers: War for Cybertron or Fall of Cybertron if you want some heart pumping stuff... The credit scenes of those games are made of win

You cried! YOU WEAK PANSY!

MEN ARE ONLY ALLOWED TO CRY AT FUNERALS OF FIRST DEGREE RELATIVES, PHYSICAL TRAUMA, OR AT MOVIES OF HEROIC SACRIFICE SUCH AS BLACK HAWK DOWN OR SAVING PRIVATE RYAN!

YOU ARE AN EMBARRASSMENT TO THE Y CHROMOSOME!

Na. So what? The music touched you and you cried. It's no biggie.

Lightweight.

You say this like it's a bad thing.

I'm hoping for the exact opposite of you.
I want a grand, epic, and sad song at the end.  I want this game to be amazing and make me shed "manly tears" at the end.

All I ask is that Preliator be used either in dlc or if possible in the main game.

That's why I didn't hear this song in-game - I've always been skipping credits :?

And song doesn't sound that sad, I thought Leliana's Song was way more touching.

If you got emotional, that means it's a good thing. You liked the game enough to care. So what if it's in the form of manly tears. Feeling something is better than "meh".

Also Florence and the Machine ftw.

This for DA:I credits song.

Seriously though, I disagree. If a credits song makes you cry it's probably a sign it was a good thing that you just finished.

I haven't listen to Leliana's song yet. I haven't even played her DLC yet.

Dammit Dragon Age became an animated version of soap opera that I try to avoid in the real world.

I beg your pardon; Leliana's Song is a soundtrack name for In uthernera, which Leliana sings for you after the Nature of the Beast.

After I had beaten Dishonored with the good ending and that music started up I swear I felt so complete. I had a smile on my face the whole time. It was the best ending to a game in years and it was made that way because of the song at the end.

So please do the same with DAI

Really? It's suppose to make you feel emotional. Only Dragon Age: Origins and Dishonored were the only games that made me cry. It was such amazing experience. I don't want a song that is upbeat or keep me pump. The game is over and it should reflect that. I hope that DA:I follows Origins route. My opinion anyhow.

Maybe it's just my feminine side, but I absolutely LOVE the ending credit song for DA:O, pretty much all the music for DA:O for that matter.

Dear OP,
I'm a woman and I find your post to be amazing! So what if a couple drops of awesome slipped out of your eyes when no one was really paying attention. It's all good, when I making my Shepard day goodbye in ME3 I was sobbing (like the hiccupping and shameful cough when trying to explain what was wrong kind).

It shows all the hate Gaider has for dwarfs.... Seriously though, I hated Leliana's character BUT the DLC is actually not bad, time wise it's about the same length as Witchhunt and if you find all of the master leather works then you get some pretty good leather armour you can wear when your chara has only 20strength but it give like 9 protection. Also interesting story line. If you ever did the chantry board jobs in DA2 (sketchy on the details) it has that elf in it.

I hated Leliana's song. After my first playthrough I skipped through it so I wouldn't have to hear it on any subsequent playthroughs.

What? How could you?!? :crying: ... Leliana's song to me was her highlight moment in the game, and was the most emotional moment for me.

I agree; only problem I had with it was that BioWare's lip syncing animation...wasn't quite there yet. :S

I'm hoping this thread is at least a little tongue-in-cheek. **** society's pariochial views on what constitutes as masculine. Here's a study that says men cry at least once a month. And women like 5 times. To me both seem like a lot but w/e.
