Are you talking about the destroyer? He's not a basic/vanilla human, he's one of the highest damage dealers...but devastator mode doesn't extend the claymore magazine, only works for the executioner pistol as far as I am aware.

Sorry man if I confuse you. Thing is, I know that basic humans are really good. I just had never deployed any and went and tested with those results. The nature of my post was irony and seems it lured someone out from their cave.

The human adept is an absolute beast, especially so on platinum I find.

Lol @ jokes going over heads, and being unaware of the human soldier's ability to have a double shot claymore.

Lemme see what I can think of.

Human Soldier:
Double shot claymore via adrenaline rush also giving 70% damage for more than 5 seconds along with recharging your shields. Frag grenades bleed evo. Frags can also detonate tech explosions

Vanilla Human Adept
setting up multiple biotic explosions with singularity and rag dolling enemies with health, also warp--->shockwave damage. Warp increases damage on enemies.

Human Sentinel
fire explosions or tech bursts with sentinel using throw or simply warp throw with power evos, Warp again increases damage taken by enemies

Novaguard
INVINCIBILITY frames, detonate everything, tank everything.

Human Infiltrator
Damage Boost, Cryo Blast increases damage taken by enemies again also weaken armored targets further. sticky nades using ammo powers

Human Engineer
Tech burst galore if using disruptor rounds, fire explosions as well

To those saying they suck, I advice watch some videos on youtube (seriously) specially the Novaguard as it is awesome with good aim (assuming you have good aim).

Would be really nice to have them in a support role, perhaps priming or setting off explosions in the background as part of their support role while the rest of the team can focus on the bigger enemies. Of course they would still be able to use medi gels and missiles if they are needed for objective waves etc. But they don't quite have the power to be able to stand strong as independent characters. They're best served being in a support role, AI teammates kind of thing. You could have a couple of asaris or a krogan adept doing the bulk of the damage and handling most things on their own.

I just can't understand how can anyone say that the Vanilla Humans suck. The NovaGuard has one of the most unique and fun playstyles, just like the Adept, who has incredibly powerful biotic explosions. With Shockwave, they can detonate 2 in a row, which is devastating.

You forgot that Warp weakens armour. And 90% of biotic classes have access to a priming skill that synergises greatly with Warp Ammo for a near double damage boost. Also Tech Combos have a little more overall team synergy than Biotic Combos due to the fact that skills like Concussive Shot can detonate them. Incendiary rounds ensures that EVERY non-Vanguard has insane weapon damage output since they all have access to a glitching power (though honestly there's no reason to use it since DIsruptor Rounds tends to synergise better with the only "weakling" (in terms of deeps). Also yeah, anyone claiming the Novaguard is bad is clearly terrible at the game. The Novaguard was the first overused class and was one of the metagame classes (along with the Asari Adept, Falcon Soldier and Black Widow/GPS Salarian) before power creep gave us easy mode.

Why is disruptor ammo superior to incendiary? I tried out a couple of games earlier with the drell vanguard using the talon, I got a few tech bursts while using disruptor rounds but I definitely preferred the higher damage and DOT from incendiary.

Because I have 150 Disruptor IV and only 3 Incendiary IV.
