Everyone seems to assume that everyone would play as PUGs do now and bleed out.

They would have an incentive NOT to bleed out and if Sync'd or stamped there would be a chance for someone to revive them.

Or maybe be able to revive from a distance like SP using their Gel.  Use it or we'll use it for you

Maybe it would only be at higher difficulty levels or selectable in the host settings.
Just as many other games have server rules for game types. If it was selectable in the game quick search it might keep the leechers out of your lobbies.

Oh my garsh.  I love your avatar.

PUGs are PUGs and will always be PUGs. Making the system more punishing will not make bad players play better.

It's not about incentive to use medi-gel, it's incentive to revive. No one will bother taking any risk to revive if they can walk over and do it any time. Syncs, stomps, and bleed outs are all punishments for irresponsible play. Letting you get revived after means there's really no punishment. As long as you get revived by wave 3/6/10 there is really nothing you're losing.

Know what, forget it. This is just a bad idea and you should feel bad.

Also I'm disappointed: when I saw "Reviving posted in the topic "What if reviving was different"" I was expecting something... more.

Ok here's another idea, how about if you get revived 3 times then your characters trousers fall down? Kind of like being named and shamed?

And how does the current system provide incentive to revive? I'm not going to risk running after someone who died in a dumb spot, especially if they keep doing it, when the the reward for me is the same either way.

On the other hand, if I knew I had unlimited time to clear out the area, and get a credit reward or something for reviving them, I would do it. Again, in the spirit of co-op, maybe you get a bonus for getting your teammates alive through each wave and extraction.

No auto revive between waves
If you bleed out you are out for the rest of the match
If stomped or Synced you could only be revived by someone else no self Gelling.
You stop earning credits at the point you die.

Your ideas are idiotic.

No, I'm assuming the "match" system will be quite different.

There may still be a horde mode of sorts, although I anticipate it being executed in a different way, so there may or may not be waves. And there may or may not be sync kills.

So essentially I believe we can't make any assumptions/suggestions for reviving until we know what they are planning for the MP structure itself.
