Tali romance problem?

I have done Tali's trial now but I can't get the "start romance" dialogue going until we do another mission. The problem is, I am afraid that after the next mission (Legion's Loyalty mission) we are going to be invaded by the Collectors. I still have Jack's mission outstanding, but I don't think that will stop the Collector attack. In other words, after the next mission I can start the romance path, but I won't have another mission after that to continue it without losing some of the crew. I don't care about Kelly (haven't talked to her the whole game) but I would prefer not to lose Gabby.
So, am I hosed? Do I have to chose between the romance and the crew? (If so, romance trumps crew. Sorry, Gabby.)

That depends, do you want the romance to happen before or after the Collectors invade the ship? You can still romance people after the Suicide Mission, and you can start it with Tali before you invade the Collector Base.
I didn't know that. Thanks. I thought the scene that happens when you enter the Omega 4 relay was it. So this scene plays out even after the SM?

Won't the stuff you do after the suicide mission not "carry over" when you load the save into ME3? Thought the save that gets transferred is made just as you complete the final mission or something and make that final important decision of the main story.

Yep. Technically, you can romance everyone available to you. And that is only possible after the Suicide Mission.
But not all within the context of a single game, right? Or even more than once with a single person in the same game?

What carries over depends only on which save you pick for the import. So you should be able to romance everyone, make the final romance the one you want to carry over, save, then import that save. There is no special SM save. It could not be that way, in fact, since most people do Arrival AFTER the SM.

You can pick a save file after the Suicide Mission to import. Remember, more dlc came out after initial release and decisions there were imported.chessplayer209 wrote...

No, you can romance all romance options in a single playthrough. I've done a few times and it still carries over all of them to ME3, the dialogue will just change depending on if you are still with them or not.Br3ad wrote...
