ok... so, microsoft points are dead, they converted us all to cash.

heres how my day went...

this morning, I tried to redeem microsoft points for one spectre pack, and one premium spectre pack in mass effect 3's multiplayer store, and did not receive my content.

now... the downloads took forever but did finish, and the game checked for purchases, but did not see my recent purchases.

so, not only did I not get my content, but I am out $6.00

bearing in mind microsoft's ToS, do I have any recourse?

Oh ****. Forgot about that. Can't we use the points at all anymore?! Still had 480 T_T

But this gives me some hope that they'll discount the DA2 DLCs. And the ME ones.

This is something that is probably completely in Microsoft's court for its their system that screwed up.

@BlueDemonX from what I understand they converted all your points to cash credit.

Yes you can, microsoft will honor any MS points up to one year after its purchase. Stores still have them in stock, so it will be a couple of months before we stop seeing them. The points will be converted to dollar amounts. Same goes for those that were already on your account.

I was caught off guard by this little conversion that happened last night when fiddling with my xbox. I think I know have something like $15.08 in my account.

I saw they are still shown on the site, so I calmed down. And I also remembered they only wanted to do it with the Xbox, if I'm not mistaken. So "bye bye" DA2 DLC discounts for PC (bring them to Origin Kindoms of Amalur style, dammit! Or at least have some discounts on those points xD).

I contacted EA support, they were not able to get me my multiplayer content per say, but they were able to resolve the situation and make me whole another way. I am satisfied.

this is what taking the time to calm down..or sleep off the anger, and explain the situation calmly and rationally will get you, a good and pleasant end result.
