Why revive this thread mystercycle? Aren't the 10 on the front page not enough? ^^

I only just got here! I just wanted to be part of the cool crowd. ._.

Actually, in all honesty, it was because I was looking up the threads I had posted in my first time here, to see what else had been said. I've been coming into the forums by the back door, so to speak...

Bionuts is mistaken .
There are dating sims.
Two I've heard of are Japanese translated into English.
The one I've is more like a visual novel than a video game.
It's based on coping with disabilities of all things.
The protagonist has a heart condition and is sent to a special school where he meets young women his own age with a variety of disabilities .
One young woman is blind, another had half her face badly burned in a fire, another lost her feet and has blades instead etc.
The young man can choose one to romance and has to, as you would expect, choose the right things to do and say along the way for the romance to develope.
I read somewhere there is sex toward the end and the romance can end well or badly depending on the protagonist's actions .
shrugs.
I understand it is a popular dating sim for people who like that kind of thing.
I can see where the player would feel sympathy for the characters in the game.
But that isn't what DA romance lovers want .Players who don't want romances

can't force other DA players to obey them by leaving DA for dating sims .
It's ridiculous and ludicrous to keep saying DA romance lovers should just go play dating sims.
Isn't going to happen.
shrugs.

Since I've already said what I want to say about romances on plenty of threads already, I just have to ask. Why do you post that way Angrywolves? It's just ARRRRGH.

You're easily confused.
The dog broke my pc.
Hmmm, seems pretty straight forward to me.

How can a dog possibly break your computer to the point where you have to type like that? I mean, what damage did the dog do?

I take it that when your computer breaks you have no choice but texting?

Well why didn't he just say that in the first place? Even so, when I use my phone to message on here, it doesn't come out like that. : /

Err... I assumed it was his phone "in the first place". About the format, well, phones work in mysterious ways.

Honestly, the thought never even crossed my mind--and I use my phone too occasionally. Doesn't mean one can't type normal paragraphs.

Okay, so, I don't really want a Bioware dating sim, BUT, if Bioware were to make a FREE visual novel, I may be inclined to try it, because I do enjoy the romances. There are aspects of it that irk me, but as a whole, I enjoy having them.

That, and I haven't played a dating sim besides Katawa Shoujo, and I hear that's one of the best, so I need something that can either top that, or be equal to it.

What do you mean your dog broke it?
It's been months now that you
type like this.
Can't you at least edit your post
with the edit button?

no brotean.
If you don't like them then don't read them.
Or buy me me another pc.
I think you're just looking for somebody to bully because you have that kind of psychopathology.
I'm in one of my "I DON'T CARE" moods today darth.
So if you'll excuse me......

Stop it, no one's bullying you. if they were you'd know it. They're just curious as to why you type like that.

I'll be totally honest: I'd be interested to see what Bioware could produce if they simply made a straight up dating sim.

They could make it a $15 dollar DLC for DA:I - which would be without romance content - and probably sell hundreds of thousands of copies.

No need for this thread to be resurrected. More than enough "I want to give my opinion on romances" threads available already.
