Definitely. I used to play on my old rig (6 years old...) at around 30 fps. Now I'm playing at 60 fps and I had to adjust, both my tactics and loadouts, but also the way I tacle some enemies. I hate collector captains with a passion...

bro, you have better performance on shotguns, plus the REAL REEGAR CARBINE. cam turn while moving, free reload cancel with medigel button, no auto aim, the list goes on... xbox is where its a for skillful mass effect play

I'll host a game at 120 fps for you Zae. Then when the enemy literally cannot miss you, when they identify your location instantly and burst you down, you'll see exactly why the interpenemylocspeed variable being locked at 20 across all 3 platforms is so important. Essentially, you're comparing the enemy updating player locations every 0.66 seconds on console, compared to every 0.16 seconds on MY host. On console, you can casually side step ravagers, marauder fire, etc. Good luck managing that on my host.

Secondly, the reegar carbine is the only weapon which gains damage at higher frame rates, no other weapon fires fast enough to come even close. Even nerfed by 50%, it's still stupidly powerful, and quite frankly an easy mode weapon.

Our "turning camera while moving" is not as good as you make it out to be... it means we cannot use the mouse to dictate which direction we run in, drastically impacting upon how mobile our characters can be.

Console players can reload cancel too.

As for auto-aim, being able to freely aim unfortunately means that you cannot rely on the "ADS Button Crutch" that so many console players abuse. 

If you want your crosshair to be over the enemy, you have to move it there yourself, and hold it there, without any adhesion, friction or snapping while playing on PC. Instead of relying on the auto aim by placing your crosshair "near enough" to the enemy then pressing your ADS button, and the crosshair jumping onto the enemy; a technique which can be seen widely in Uh Cold's videos, where his aiming is obviously off, yet when he hammers his ADS + trigger, the auto aim moves his cross hair onto the enemy instead of him shooting empty space like would happen on PC.

Console is sluggish, slow and controls like a derailing train. You simply cannot argue that such a poor overall experience is better in any way shape or form, or takes any skill, as the ceiling for "skilled play" is only as high as the peripherals, frame rate and hand-eye co-ordination allow. Console requires very little hand eye co-ordination, is crippled by low frame rates and is hamstrung by 16-way analogue sticks.

As for Cyonan, besides from being a clever, cool guy, with smooth attitude who's always a delight to game with... he can also punctuate, form sentences and spell properly. You on the other hand Zae, with your lack of logic, your childish attitude and your near incessant laughable "tough guy" talk come across as dim witted and uneducated.

The point is, if you enjoy this game at all, why would you want to end it quickly? I only missile when I'm tired of the game (usually it's Platinum Geth/Gold Collectors with useless PUG teammates) and want to end it asap.

On topic of console war:

A wise man once said: "There are a lot more good players on console then there are on PC, but the great players on PC are the best players overall and there is a massive leap in skill of PC players with no mid-way point between "descent" and "great"" (paraphrasing a little, he said it like December 2012)

Basically console is a lot easier to play well on (mainly due to lower FPS and aim assist. However as a console players skill increased aim assist becomes more of a deterent than anything (true for all console shooters but moreso applicable to games like Mass Effect where enemies such as Swarmers exist without priority) and the lack of higher framerates prevents them from experiencing the challenge they need to better themselves (most PC players may, and likely will due to bad PC performance and lack of skill, play at 30 FPS before getting to the point where they can handle the 60 FPS).

As far as PC playing, from the impression I got was that a lot of PC players are generally pretty average. Outside of the select few who formed the original SPECTRE group the majority of players, despite PC advantages were worse than the X-Box equivalent. However very few X-Box players could be considered as good as guys like Lord Sirian or Jay (this was before the whole lolaimbot argument, just drop it before it begins) and no one was as good as the top-level all rounders like Sten.

BUT anyone below that level of skill was easily surpassed by console players (There wasn't really a middle ground between average and great)
