Is it just me or are you still annoyed with the ME3 endings?

Maybe the keepers eat anyone that notices. Those poor duct rats didn't know what hit them.

It's also possible that people just never noticed it, or have never been to that part of the Citadel. I mean no one knows where the Keepers come from, so it's not exactly that unbelievable. Even if they had been there it's also not that much of a leap to say they never noticed the elevator, I certaintly didn't before it rose.

For the Keepers?

It was pressure sensitive?

A pressure sensitive elevator normally reserved for Keepers in the Council chambers for two thousand years, and nobody ever noticed it?  Image IPB

That's not the Council chambers. And who said no one noticed it?

It's the same panel to open the ward arms used in ME1.

Or did you think anyone who made it to the conduit was just going to wander around the Citadel flipping switches until the arms swung open again?  They knew where they had to go.

I know a reused art asset when I see one. Don't you? (This is one of the cases where that's OK -- panels that have the same function can look alike)

It's obviously not the same panel as in ME1. It's in a completely different location. They knew where they had to go, but they didn't know where they were, so that doesn't help.

Then again, what were all those people stupidly charging WWI-style at the machine gun nest Harbinger going to do once they reached the Conduit? Wander the nearly 45 km length of the CItadel looking for a handy-looking control panel with an "interact" icon?

Or it's a different terminal.

What were the people going to do once they entered the Citadel? Go to the Council chambers and open the Citadel perhaps?

Vendetta should have been Shepard's guide at that point. It did say that it would interface with the Citadel systems, but then all of a sudden it's pretty much out of the picture entirely.

So there just happened to be a random panel to open the war arms, which just happened to be parked directly below where the Conduit connects to the Citadel.  And there just happened to be an elevator centrally located for it.

Looks like they found it too.

Look at where the Crucible docks.  It links up at the top of the Presidium Tower.  That's where the Council chamber is

The plan was to get to the Citadel tower, sure.

I'm still not sure where you're going with this. Even if Shepard's somewhere in the Citadel tower, most of the structure isn't accessible in his era.

The Crucible links up to the Catalyst chamber, we see that in-game. Presumably the Council chambers are one of the many floors we can see below there, especially due to it being inside.

On a different note, I've never seen that video before, and I thought I'd seen everything from the EC too. That was cool.

Low EMS indeed. I actually think that scene (and the Space battle) are better with low EMS.

Yeah I'd seen the one with the Turians, I'm not sure how I've never seen that one though.

It looks like there's at least 3 there, but judging from the size of the Crucible that number is probably a lot higher.
