Is it just me or are you still annoyed with the ME3 endings?

Some still are, some are less or more happy with EC. In any case, it obviously was an attempt to calm the core fans. Succesful or not is a different thing but you can't say they did nothing. There wouldn't be any EC in such casecrimzontearz wrote...

anyways, the argument is that, in their mind, everybody is happy....we will see once ME4 is announced exactly what the atmosphere is and how much they are trying to win people back

If Bioware ever makes a true sequel the First and True Mass Effect I shall refer to it as the Second and Righteous Mass Effect.

<Cue movie announcer guy> In a world where you thought they were Marely Foaling aRoan, it came. You thought Shepard had saved the galaxy, but it Must Stang when you face...the EQUINE REAPER LARVA. It has come to Stirrup trouble, and it won't take Neigh for an answer. Try to Rein it in as you might, you shall be Saddled with an adventure the likes of which has never been seen. The Equine Reaper Larva. You'll scream your self Horse. So pick up a Pinto yer favorite lager and sit back for....EQUINE REAPER LARVA! (ba dada DUM!) It's a Ride you Canter escape!
Sounds like a job for Blasto.
I heard an unsubstantiated rumor (because I just made it up) that the ME movie is going to be animated, and starring Blasto the Jellyfish as Shepard, an Elcor as Garrus, a Vorcha as Miranda (with sexy outfit), a quarian as Liara, and a volus as Tali. Though that last bit might be typecasting...they both live in suits after all.
Julia's hit the nail on the head. Disgruntled people think they're in the majority because they're the loudest. Being loud doesn't make you the majority. Heck, the 'Take Back' petition got what...40K signatures? That may sound like alot, until you remember they sold 890K copies of ME3 on the first day. Just from first day sales, 40K is a drop in the bucket.
Most people probably were ok with the game; there are still people here who were OK with the ending (myself, for one), and some who actually LIKED the ending. Although the 'haters' try to shout us down and claim we don't exist, we do. We may be the minority HERE (because ya'll shouted so many out

You realize that "majority" and "minority" aren't just about people liking or disliking the endings, right?

It's not just you. And it bears repeating until BioWare acknowledge that message. And not just "Oh, the players are sad cuz it ended" or "Dumb players did no get mah ART!"
Heh. Heheh. They DID acknowledge the message. But ya'll ignored them. The ONLY way ya'll will relent in your criticism is if they go back and redo the endings to your specifications. BUT...since so many of ya'll have different ideas of how it SHOULD end...they'll STILL ****** off people. Sure, maybe YOU will be ok with it because they rewrote the entire game to fit what YOU want, but other people will hate it.
The bottom line is you can not make everyone happy. EVER. Your problem is they didn't make YOU happy and you think they should, no matter how many other people they make mad. That's the problem that ALL 'haters' have it seems.
I'm reminded of a quote I saw from another game publisher, forgot his name. But on a forum someone was accusing him of ignoring the players (because, of course, every player agreed with that forum warrior, duh.). The guy's responce was, "I'm not ignoring you, I'm disagring with you." So many players mistake disagreement with being ignored...as if the ONLY way a company can acknowledge their concerns is by rewriting the entire game to fit their expectations. I think the bigwigs DO listen. They just don't necessarily agree with many of the complaints. And since THEY know how many units they've sold, and since THEY know how many people log on to play their games, and how often...well, I think THEY might have a bit better understanding then some anonymous gun on teh intrawebz whose venting his frustration. Call me crazy.

Since I never finished ME3 pre-EC (heard about how dreadful it was and just shelved it for a good year), can anyone explain just what this DLC improved...?
All of the endings still seem pretty awful, it's either:
a) Destroy the Reapers and die along with EDI and every other synthetic in the galaxy (with a tiny chance the N7 marine taking a breath at the end is Shepard).
c) Take control of the Reapers, you still get your ass disintegrated but at least your mind becomes the Reaper Overlord.
d) Tell the brat to get stuffed and watch everyone get annihilated by the Reapers.
What did they change there? Except going into more detail possibly? And adding the old man/woman at the end telling the kid the legends of "The Shepard"?

It's pretty obviously Shepard. There's not a single reason why the devs would add in this anonymous person taking a breath, because there's absolutely no reason for any of the players to care.
