The combat system is pretty sweet. Taking the turn based system but adding an element of actual strategy to it instead of either just spamming the same skills repeatedly or using your standard attack constantly in every battle except bosses. Good stuff.

I like the Mario RPG feel I get from its gameplay -- Visually speaking -- it looks marvelous, the way it elegantly shifts from gameplay to cutscene like MGS4 did (which was the most impressive thing about that game).

Seconded. The Game gets yet another stamp of my approval. I haven't watched south park in quite a long time, but this will make for a refreshing change of pace. It'll easily be the best South Park RPG to date. With obsidian developing it(and boy are they going to be having a big year), it'd be hard to have reservations in the writing department.

You really think the release of Dark Souls 2 will impact sales of other games?

Not nearly to the extent that CoD/AC has infamously become known for during the holiday season, but there's going to be an effect and that may be part of it. Can't say for sure, though.

South Park is gonna be censored on consoles in Europe - Sucks so much. Glad I bought it through Steam.

I look forward to this game, hopefully it doesn't disappoint but why the **** is it censored on consoles and not on PC ?, not that it affects me since i use PC but it all just seem stupid.

Have it preordered. Didn't even know it was Obsidian when I watched the gameplay footage. Story by Matt & Trey, gameplay by Obsidian? IN.

Been a while since I counted down to a game being released. I spoiled myself a bit with YT vids....wouldn't normally do that, but the trailer got me. Needed to see more. This may be the first game in a decade, that my husband might even play with me. South Park: Helping to stave off divorce, since 1997.

Loved the description of the mini-games that were censored for the European version.
