@Shep - LOL! I forgot about TPTTAP. :D I am this close (holds fingertips really, really close together), to playing hooky. I am a bad person.

*hangs head in shame, but holds a quirky little smirk on her face.*

I have no idea what this means yet, but I love the fact that you said it. <3

Have been watching some playthroughs on this game, and man, I'll probably have to get it myself since I have been laughing my ass off. Found the naming of ones character quite a hilarious scene. What a South Park-y way to have the other characters call the player character.

Watching that right now. So far, so good.

At least based off of the Kotaku Review, might want to wait on a patch before grabbing it. They did say it's a hilarious game and complimented the combat, though.

Allan went for a Fighter playthrough instead of a Jew playthrough

Allan no

Allan y

Allan pls

Side note- In the sequel, they should allow you to pick your race. Human, Elf, or Canadian.

Eh, it's good Allan went with another class. The majority of playthroughs I've seen tend to roll Jew.

May as well toss in Part Three and Part Four(NSFW).

From what I've seen, the game is pretty heavy on exploration and throws in a ton of references from the show.

Spoiler

You end up making an awful lot of friends in this game, facebook jokes inevitable. :P Love the Skyrim-Esque Overworld music.

I am resisting from clicking on Alan's Let's Play vids. I did watch the first one (but had already spoiled myself on the opening with the gameplay trailer that was released).

This day is moving sooooo slow. >.<

Snowed in were I live, so I've been warming myself by the light of my monitor playing the Stick of Truth.  Never have I been so disturbed and amused by a game at the same time.

Don't really care what Kotaku thinks since I find their credibility to be incredibly weak. So far the reviews have been as expected and I can't wait 'till I can finally play. Never been this excited about a game, least of all an RPG, for a while.

I have absolutely no willpower. The game is sitting on my office desk, taunting me. So now...I must click part two of Alan's Let's Play. Curses! >.<

I've played this game for about 2 hours and it's pretty cool. Still, there's something strangely disturbing out of my kid, equipped with a nightstick and a gas mask kicking the crap out of all these poor larpers.

Pretty awesome so far. I think what I'm impressed by is how much fun I'm having with all aspects of the game. I figured being South Park: the Game, I'd be only interested in the story/insane antics resulting from, but I'm finding the exploration/combat to be pretty addicting so far.

I especially like how Matt and Trey are able to rip on all these hilarious RPG conventions while sticking to every single one. Even better than I was expecting.

Well, my brother found a bug, he messaged me saying, and I quote, "be sure to save before having to get past guards using the sneaky squeaker fart. The game freezes if you fail. It's happened twice already."

I haven't gotten to that part of the game yet, and I'm done for the night, so I can't comment myself. Just a heads up.

This game makes me laugh my ass off a lot.

I did run into some minor bugs (scene in the first part), and also ran into an issue with trying to cast ranged magic (I'm actually not sure how to perform the skill.... which is a problem since as far as I can tell I am following the instructions).  I'm not sure if it's just something I don't understand or if there's possibly a bug there.

But yeah, I'm converting parts 5-8 tonight.  Will start posting them when I wake up in the morning.  If you're in any way a South Park fan, I encourage you to pick up this game.  If you're not, it maaaaaaaaaaay not hit as many notes with you, but if you tend to enjoy satire I think you'll probably still enjoy it.
