GRRM killed my favorite character there and I still loved the RW, so, as long as Bioware does it right I'll have no problems with it.
Just don't do it to Carver.
Or the Warden/Hawke.
Hawke will kill warden and carver, before being killed by flemeth, who than kills the inquisitors entire party, before killing the player characters as well.
End credits.
Still a better ending than ME3.
And these are the guys you want to try and pull off a red wedding scenario?
If you say so. *shrugs shoulders*

I can't imagine any character that died at the RW being anyone's favorite in the books.

To be honest, after all this hype about the Red Wedding, I would think it was kind of lame if they did something similar.

The red wedding wasn't just a massive killoff... As I said it's part of the character building of the Starks and those around them. Also, it's quite obvious Daenerys is going to sit the iron throne in the end, so it's just better to don't have extra kings in the way... If Bioware builds a good story and if the massacre it's part of something bigger and not just killing just for the sake of it, then it would be a very good addition.

I see a lot of comparisons between ME3 ending and the red wedding while they're completely different. ME3 ending was the end of a story and involved the main character, while the red wedding it's just about the middle of the story and serves as turning point in the story arc of some of the true main characters (Arya, Sansa and Jon... Partly Tyrion).. so there's no comparison.

You say that, and in 10 years when the next book comes out, Daenerys get's an arrow to the head from ramsay and dies.

Haha - and in a really obvious way that Daenerys should have seen coming a mile away.

"Hello, I'm going to shoot you in the face with an arrow in a few minutes."
"That's inconc----*arrow to the face*"
And there was much rejoicing.

NO ! JUST NO!
I don't care who sits on that throne so long as it's not Miss "I won't release my dragons despite my city being under siege because one of them; who is not even here; ate a little girl."

I'm putting all my hopes and dreams on Stannis the Mannis.
He's our only hope! (that has a legitimate incest free claim on the throne)

Not to mention that if certified BAMFs Tyrion and Victarion weren't both about to show up and help save the day, Meereen would most definitely be screwed.Grand Admiral Cheesecake wrote...

Agreed. Just the fact that he keeps bouncing back into the game after every defeat out of pure strenght of will makes him the best candidate for the throne. Plus, justice.Grand Admiral Cheesecake wrote...

All hail the one true king of Westeros, Stannis of House Baratheon, first of his name, king of the Andals and the Rhoynar and the First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms and Protector of the Realm.
