The Incisor also only makes the noise of a single shot when firing a burst.
Oh weapon descriptions, you're so silly.

I don't really care if they do it or not. I live fine right now. But the game sure would be more fun and more interesting.

nerf the wraith? BURN THE HEATHEN
Not the damage, only weight, but as some people here say - weight doesn't matter. 0.2 seconds there 0.3 seconds here - who cares. It's not much.

They could. It's not as hard as making new DLC. If they cared they would've kept doing monthly ballance changes.

Look at the damage numbers and think for a second. Hurricane at ~85dmg per shot is doing 850 burst DPS, which is in fact down to CSMG's armor burst (assuming CSMG w/ HVB and ExtMag). But since it is possible to think critically, the practical DPS of CSMG against any target with more than 4000 armor is significantly lower since you have to wait for recharge. How many armored targets have more than 4000 armor? Basically everything sans Pyro and Bomber on Gold.Element 0 wrote...

Do you see that?
Your change would make the Hurricane into a less accurate CSMG.
Meanwhile in Hurricane land, if you want anti-armor you throw Extended Mag and Heatsink + AP ammo and you will crush the CSMG in sustained DPS against most armored targets because time between reloads and reload time is vastly superior.
No it won't be as good if you throw on some oddball mods. But that is the point. When Hurricane is nearly always better it might be overpowered, wouldn't you say? Even so, without capacity that theoretical Hurricane does 600 sustained DPS. Armor will depend on specific mod and ammo choice, but it is ahead of CSMG.
okAnd I specifically made this list to avoid drastic unreasonable changes so they are easy to apply and don't break things or alienate people too much.
Not exactly apples to oranges since those are all "infinite" ammo rechargeable clip weapons.Requiring a mod is also CSMG design, PPR design, Lancer design. They basically require ammo mods. No one if forcing you, but it's heavily implied. SMG's were unbalanced, so they have us a 90% AP mod, which is heavility immplied if you don't use AP ammo.
For the sake of argument, how about I just allow you this one? Just answer the following questions:
1. Are there any other mods that are already "mandatory" on the Hurricane?
2. What recoil and zoom recoil values are you proposing?

So buff all the weapons... What about powers like combat drones, seeker swarms, sabotage etc.? With the gear we have (level IV ammo, level III amps) there's no real reason to buff them further, except maybe for common and uncommon. Rares and UR are pretty much OK and the majority of the player base doesn't have them all at X.
Make your own thread about powers. Just a warning. No matter how sensible it is - BSN is way to stupid to understand.

None are mandatory, that allow the Hurrinane user to slap on heatsink and ammo and have basically 120-150 rounds in a clip with like 360 spare. That is insane. If the recoil was nerfed back to what it was pre-bff, the recoil mod would be almost required for it on a non-Turian. So that is 1 mod slot. Now you only have 1. So it's either ammo, or heatsink or Piercing. And there you go. It limits it's DPS, because you will have reload more frequently.
It's still very good. 33% damage nerf would make people rage MUCH harder.

I am not so sure that zoom recoil at 1.25 would really require the recoil mod. I think that essentially most people would still just fight the recoil and eat the encumbrance penalty in their cooldown without too much trouble.Element 0 wrote...

I guess we can simply agree to disagree.

Looking at the numbers, I'm not even sure it would need to be changed from SP at all.
