For maximm effectiveness vs mooks - it does. If you body shot them, they instantly hop or roll which makes you waste bullets re-aiming.
ADS VS Hipfire is a huge difference.

Scurrd? The only time you can really hipfire is when firing at huge targets, like Brutes or Ravagers or Atlas. But even then ADS will make sure more bullets hit where you aim.

Some lore friendliness is alright as long as there is a challenge. I would love to see Talon with 6 shots and much stronger enemies. Same with the Piranha with 8 shots and stronger bosses.

A good way to balance the Hurricane is to reduce its number of mod slots from 2 to 1 because it's already a very specialized design. I've never understood why every weapon has the same number of mod slots. Some weapons like PPR should not be mod-able at all. And some large weapons like the Typhoon and Claymore should have more (let's say 3) mod slots.

The ONE good thing about the cessation of support is that it spelled the end of nerfs.
I missed the glory days of just about every OP weapon by the time I finally unlocked them. The Typhoon was particularly painful--I think I got it a day or two after it got slammed by the nerf bat.

It already has an absolutely huge drawback...its range. It is perfectly balanced. I still suck at the game. You really want to make me suck even more by destroying one of my favourite weapons?
Piranha...WHY?? Why are we not allowed to have powerful weapons? The enemies are extremely powerful and have the ability to cheat. The game is buggy as hell, and those bugs will screw you over often. So why can't we have powerful guns to compensate? They already destroyed the piranha once, why do you want it to be nerfed again man?
Your post baffles me and actually makes me sad. I really can't understand why you're asking for a hurricane and harrier nerf. While they're very powerful weapons, they have such major drawbacks and I believe they're perfectly balanced as they are. The acolyte takes a long time to charge up, so I feel like the high damage against shields is worth it. It's a slow gun, you have to aim carefully and make every single shot count.

AQ's nerf to the Talon would barely even do anything to it.
Plus, the Typhoon is still incredibly powerful even in its nerfed state.
