Dunvi's N7 was so high, that they had to take the square root of it. 

Dunvi is actually the best player on ME3.

The ONE good thing about the cessation of support is that it spelled the end of nerfs.

I missed the glory days of just about every OP weapon by the time I finally unlocked them. The Typhoon was particularly painful--I think I got it a day or two after it got slammed by the nerf bat.

AQ's nerf to the Talon would barely even do anything to it.

Plus, the Typhoon is still incredibly powerful even in its nerfed state.

Actually, that leads me to what I think the problem is with nerfs in general.  I don't actually suck as a player--in fact I'm probably above average (not the "average" here at BSN of course)--but I'm far from being being some uber/phenom/elite type, and the weapons/powers that were supposedly OP...weren't...at least, not in my mediocre hands.

In short, I think the nerfs were based on a skewed sample,

As a side note (not to you Cyonan), I have found it ironic for some time now that so many who happily benefited from these "OP" weapons and powers in the early days--perhaps before their skills were quite so elite--were some of the most vocal in wanting to deny them to those of more recent arrival, to label them as crutches,and to decry those who would use them as scrubs and noobs.  Elitism really has very little place in a co-op game.  If a certain weapon, class, or power offends you, or makes the game too easy for YOU, just don't use it, and/or don't game with those who do.  Pretty damn simple. 

Okay.... /rant.  not that I expect anyone will see it.  It was really more for my own benefit, to blow off some steam.

Yes, those of us who used the pre-singularity overhaul human adept, without any of the new amazing weapons which can make it a beast, without acyolte, or reegar, or harrier, without gear bonuses, or hurricanes, and without the I-win buttons of the TGI, AIU, and Juggernant obviously had it "easier", "before the nerfs" . Overall, player power has increased by a huge factor, so please, don`t pull that argument, the first of us learned to play with currently sub-optimal kits/builds/weapons/consumables. Think on that before you rant.

it's really amazing how irrationally emotional people are about the balance changes. if you actually look at the balance change history, the changes were severely balanced towards benefiting new and ****ty players. 

the number of nerfs in the game history is astoundingly small actually, and in almost every case it was very much obviously a situation of even the dumbest, ****tiest players managing ridiculous amounts of power. all of the cases of a weapon being hilariously overpowered in the hands of a player who can aim or understands game mechanics (reegar, harrier, black widow, wraith, talon, original/current acolyte, for some) have been frustratingly ignored.

balance changes were not made because of the 'vocal minority' on BSN. It was based on the numbers Bioware ran.
