Every Dragon Age protagonist so far has had the option to be incredibly sarcastic. The Inquisitor better carry this mantle, just as Hawke and the Warden did.

The Warden had far less sarcastic dialogue, which I hope we don't return to. I like the option to pick how colourful I want to make my game, and I <3 sarcastic, irreverent protagonists.

In the words of Cassandra "Bullshi*!"

Too bad half the snarky comment Hawke made weren't even funny. I actually found the agressive choices to be much funnier.

Personally, I found Warden's sarcastic line to be much funnier than Hawkes.

I hope the snarky dialogue choices are actually intelligent-sounding. Snarky Hawke came across as a dunderhead who thinks s/he's being clever, when s/he's really just being obvious and obnoxious.

I liked the sarcastic dialogue...I did a playthrough just for that dialogue option.

I love awkward pc !
I always imagined Hawke giggling at his/her own stupid joke and everyone around facepalming.
I thought it was great.

But well I have a soft spot for heroes who act like the worst moron ever but are great at saving the day.

All the inquisitor's snarky responses will be a best of collection of all the snarky forum responses David Gaider has made over the years.

They won't always make sense for the dialogue, but they will still have a comical value.

Sarcasm isn't just about being funny. More often than not, it's about mockery.

"We are throwing an big party for everyone in the guard at the Hanged man. Will you come? Of course you will come!"

I like the way Hawke says it.

Personally, sarcastic Hawke brings life to the game. Aggresive Hawke while direct and cool, can be quite an ass from time to time. I do hope we get sarcastic dialogue in Inquisition. Some of the most colorful dialogues come from witty Hawke.

Usually the only one who looks mocked is Hawke when the sarcastic/snarky choice is used. Aveline said it best:

"Not now, Hawke."

Well Aveline bless her heart had a very dry sense of humor which balanced well with a sarcastic Hawke.

I loved sarcastic Hawke.
Once I tried it, I couldn't go back to any of the other personalities. My Hawke was doomed to keep making (sometimes stupid) jokes at the most inappropriate times.

(But it really broke my heart when Hawke tried to make a joke when Leandra died, sounding all choked up, and Leandra was all like 'you've always been the type to use jokes as a defense mechanism'. Suddenly, my Hawke had so much more depth...)

"It's so cold in my tent..."

"Then you should get a bigger blanket."

Sarcastic Warden is underrated.

How exactly was the Warden's "here is my fist on your teeth" line again? I absolutely loved it, but I can't remember it too well =(

I believe that was the one in the dwarven bar, when the dwarf asked the warden if they wanted to share a seat, the warden responded something to the effect to " of sharing my fist to your face"

I also liked the wardens comment to Sten about sneaking up on the Archdeamon from behind, that he would never see it coming. When Sten is questioning the Warden in Haven

Snarky responses are the best responses. I loved all of Hawke's stupid, inappropriate and tactless jokes.
