Did the beta app process reset?  I've been signed up since it was first announced but going to the site it's acting as though I were signing up for the first time. o.O  After waiting all this time, this is more than a little aggravating if it's no mistake.

I also have this problem

I thought they abandoned it or something. I applied ages ago and never heard a peep from it.

Not sure how hard it is to understand, but just because one applied doesn't mean one will be invited.

They only need a very few, relative to the number who would like, and offer, to participate.  The vast majority who volunteer will never hear anything at all.  Vast.  Majority.

(Do you buy MegaMillions lottery tickets?  Do you win?  There you go...)

Well, yeah. But when you lose the lottery, you're still gonna be disappointed.

Sooner or later, they're going to need to stress-test the server, though. That has to be good for a few hundred invites!

With all the varibles in the world stages from DA:O through DA2 and DLCs, you'd think they'd need alot of people testing the different combinations.  I have to imagine some truely obscure combinations would give it problems. Like the variables required to make Alistair replace Stroud in DA2.

I'm just amazed that after all the sets of beta invites they sent not one person has yet leaked footage of the keep...

I'm guessing each testing wave is getting bigger and bigger, so their stress testing incrementally.  I suspect a majority of those who applied will get invites eventually.  If they really want to stress test their likely server load, they'll need a few thousand.

Oh, yes, I hope so! I was part of the ESO beta when they were doing stress tests, and it felt like a ton of people were invited to those. Obviously, this is different, but I'm keeping my hopes up that I'll get an invite.

Well you are bang on that there are a lot of variable :)
We're getting a LOT of feedback, and even with the smaller pool of testers we're already flooded with ideas, requests, and bugs.

Also I wouldn't worry too much about Alistair's story, testers for some reason seem to give him and his choices a LOT of emphasis and attention :P

Shamelessly, today is my birthday.  It would be an awesome gift to remember to end up with a beta invite.

Lol, It took forever just to found this thread. It should be tagged. It is like the most important thread until the game comes out. I am still holding on to my copies of dragon age: origins and dragon age 2 until I know about The Keep. I ore-ordered the games for the PS4, but I am not buying the actual PS4 until I know about THE KEEP. It is a lot easier to change my pre-order to the PS3, then to get full value for a returned PS4.  I don't want to start playing the game without armor like in Dragon Age: Awakenings, or my brown skin character loses his pigment like in Dragon Age 2 for a period.(That was actually the weirdest bug I have ever seen) I will go out a buy a PS4 if I get an invite just to see it work.

This thread is pinned, it is always at the top of Scuttlebutt. Not sure why you think the Keep has anything to do with having no armour at the start of Awakenings or the pigment bug in DA2 though.  The Keep IS the import tool for DAI, there will be no direct import of saves from previous games.

Exactly. Which means switching back to PS3 if he doesn't hear about the Keep will not "solve" anything considering there is no save game import function at all for previous games.

The Keep is online and DAI can access whatever world state you create in the Keep. So if you bought the PS4 version of the game make sure your PS4 is connected to the Internet so you the game can download the world state you have created.

I know that, and I did not see it at the top of the Scuttlebutt. I even did a search for it, and it wasn't even the first thing that came on. The Keep deals with imports, and all of those issues were import game issues from previous games.

No, the Keep currently doesn't deal with imports and based on the comments by Bioware (rather recent comments too) there is a big chance they will not be able to get imports to even work before release. So right now the safest bet is to just not count on being able to import save games.

I just read through the previous posts about their not being a saved import feature among the platforms. I might hold on my entire pre-ordering until I know how the Keep is working.

I am talking about importing The Keep's info into to  Dragon Age Inquisition. So just like when importing DA:O into the DLCs and DA:2 caused gameplay problems. I would like to see what problems the Keep:s info will cause.

The import problems usually happened because usually the saves were a mess, something was not triggered properly, something was triggered unintentionally, etc.

The Keep was designed specifically to avoid these sorts of problems, making sure that whatever you set in there will become part of the history of Thedas.

I see the the tag post now. I didn't see it before. Scuttlebutt is another word for rumors in Navy, so I didn't bother looking in here. :)
