This is why I think betas are stupid. You make some fans feel elated and like they matter and others feel like they don't. It seems to be a game of favoritism. Who can say or do the things that matter more to the company (basically kiss a**). I don't think companies should do it this way. But that's how they want to play. 
 
 
 
 
Edit: I know what the purpose of a beta is. I wasn't saying that beta's didn't have a purpose. I know it's how developers test their products before they are to be used or sold and work all the bugs or most of the bugs out. I have been playing games since I could walk and graduated from college. I was just stating ,in my opinion, that the way they are handled should be changed. This way they don't ostracize a good majority of their fanbase and make them feel insignificant.

I personally feel, as an adult, that I'm capable of understanding that people are chosen at random. I get disappointed not to get in, but I don't think it's favoritism or anyone kissing ass.

They'd still be disappointing people if they did the first few signed up since they had so many. There's no way around that.

Also Inquisition will be AWESOME even without even using the Keep, so I see no point in using it all, when in reality this is a Brand new game in a Brand new Direction with a Brand new MC.

 

The only deals that would matter, Cameo's from Warden, Hawke, to Allistar being King to Morrigan's Dark Ritual, I see little else being mentioned or effected  in Inquisition.

 

Like I said the game will be fine even playing the game on DEFAULT.

I so can't wait to get my hands on the Keep.

 

I've got so many playthroughs to rebuild. Along with ones I want to try/discover. Like, I never had a male noble to marry Anora or a noble in general to become sole ruler of Ferelden (that's a possibility, right?). Among a whole host of other possibilities. Like for Hawke, I could only make myself go the pro-Templar route like once or twice. So, I'd love to see the variations there.

Sure the game will be fine, even awesome on Default, but I'm pretty sure those aren't the only decisions that you'll see the impact of. Mages/Templars, Ruler of Ferelden, Dark Ritual & who with if yes, character deaths - in some cases main character ones, if Hawke is Viscount, how you handle the Qunari, werewolves, etc. Will it matter if you had a Dalish Warden that gave land to the elves, or a mage one that liberated the circle? Those are just what I can think of off the top of my head, but there are about a bajillion smaller decisions that can come into play, too. It's more for the world as a whole and the player than for the Inquisitor. So, no... it might not 'matter' to see that npc cameo of someone you saved or something, as the Inquisitor won't know who it is, but it's definitely gratifying for me personally to see that sort of detail.

 

Of course, if you don't want to use it, more power to you... but I definitely would not say it's pointless. Not to me.

Like I said I am just going to play Inquisition As Is, or use Inquisition's Pre-Selection History Options Like I had originally Planned on doing so in the 1st place.

I knew The Keep would be a complicated mess, which is why I am not even going to do or even going to use the Keep, I plan on playing Inquisition As Is soon as I get the game on 10-07 on my Playstation 3.

 

I did however get the Strategy Guide for the game + Deluxe Version of the game my Gamestop Power up Card helped me get the game at a Nice Price + I scored Points.

 

I am tired of talking on & about the Keep, I also don't even plan on using the Keep, Seems, Aggervating, Complicated, & we have no idea on What Kind of Process the keep Will be once it is available.

 

All we know this is the only way of Import. But we don't know is the specifics, Such as the 300 Choices we can make, to other aspects of the DK APP.

 

So I am tired of fighting against City Hall, so far as I am concerned I am Ignoring the Keep & Playing the game In anyway Shape or form I can.

I am tired of Trying to make sense of DK. To me it makes no Sense at All. I MISS DIREC-IMPORT.

We get it now, you no longer care about the Keep. What is really perplexing is your complete 180 over the subject. First you absolutely needed the world state of your save games. People explained to you how you could achieve this with your connection and last gen console. You never took that advice to heart, even when you still insisted you needed a save game import feature baked into the game client. And now, you say you don't care about the Keep but yet you seem to care or you wouldn't keep posting about not caring.

 

300 decisions are far more than the few different decisions you think will matter only in DAI. If it were only the decisions you mentioned, the Keep would already be accessible for us. It just sounds more like you want to justify not wanting to use the Keep because after fearing for months not being able to use (despite the fact you got told you could use it, even with your 56k modem).

These young people thinking 56k makes the internet impossible gosh. *sits down in his rocking chair* Let me tell you young wipper snappers about a time when we had to do everything, even twitchy games like FPSs and RTSs on 56k...it was like the matrix without Keano Reeves. Bullets and bodies moving in slow motion and teleporting everywhere. Calling that one lucky sob who had high speed a cheater BC he didn't lag. Those were the good old days I say! It took me hours to download a song on Napster!

Fun video! I was hoping for a bit more juicy bits, but it's nice to hear something! I wonder if those last images with Gaspard and a small bio are from the Keep? They seem to fit the stained glass theme.

Yep, definitely recommend watching Lady Insanity's video FAQ on the Keep. She's taken all the info that Bioware have talked about and put it into one place.
