As an addendum, those of us in the Keep Beta have been given LIMITED permission to talk about our participation, including admitting that we're part of it. What I will say is that there were a LOT of wrong preconceptions about what it is, and how it works, and that everyone should be quite happy with the detail that BioWare is including to make your previous games work in DA:I the way you played the previous games. Also, that those who are new to DA, won't have to worry.

There's still a lot of ongoing work being done, but so far, I'm thrilled with it.

Did Bioware sort of... ask you guys to help clear up some of the misconceptions? Or at least start to reassure people that it's not as bad as what they've imagined?

They asked us nothing. We were told that they knew we were 'bursting at the seams' as it were, to say anything about the Keep. Until now, we weren't even allowed to say we were part of it.

As of now, we can say that we are delighted with the direction it's going. And talk a little about it.

Absolutely no details, though.

Oh.  So in other words, you can't say you're disappointed in it.

IF we were disappointed I don't see why we couldn't voice those opinions as well lol. It's just that apparently no one has anything negative or less than positive to say ;)

No, we haven't been told to be positive, or negative, about it. And it IS cool, so far.

Nope, they never asked us to do anything except try out Keep. And applies to my video as well: I reached out to Bioware and wrote the script myself, and they gave me the green light to publish the video. Took a bit of a long while though (wasn't ready to talk about it til now), but I'm glad it finally came out :)

I can't say I am a fan of the developers allowing beta testers to say a little bit more than that they are in beta. Bursting at the seams or not a mere opinion stating you like it or not doesn't really help non-testers much. It doesn't really stop the "bursting" if you can't talk into detail what you have seen and I feel it actually leads to more issues than less. It can too easily lead to hints about the details.

I have experience as a beta tester of other games but I also have had experience being a moderator on what used to be a highly visited game site and as soon as beta began and people were allowed to say they were in it, the game of charades started. As soon as beta testers can post "out in the wild" it becomes very easy to say just a little bit too much, even if you didn't intend to. It starts with the harmless, "No, you are wrong about this. I know better because I am in beta" or something to that effect. If you can't give details on anything it is just too easy to say too much because even if you can say you are in beta, you are still desperately trying to hold yourself back from saying more. So the dam is still about to burst just as before.

The more important question is 'when will aaarcher86 be receiving her invitation?'

Y'all need to chill. Those of you who don't have beta invites and haven't experienced it yet, guess what? IT'S OKAY. Those of you have beta invites and have experienced the Keep, guess what? IT'S OKAY. The game comes out in three months and we all have some time to relax and chill. We'll all play the game when it gets here.

I've really only seen 1 - 2 people make an actual stink about the Beta.  The rest of us are just joking and having fun.

Yeah, when I post pictures of sad animals after every round where I don't get an invite, it's in a spirit of 'Bioware please share your Keep with me!' and not because I'm angry about not getting one. (There have to be 35,000 people signed up by now, so the chances of any individual getting in are small at this point.)

Thank you for the video, and and I'm glad it's all looking great so far!

I'll be getting a beta invite before I let a tiger tell me to chill >:(3

Realistically I probably won't be in the keep until it goes full open beta and everyone can try it xD But I"m still trying to be optimistic I thank LadyInsanity for the wonderful and entertaining video and I can't wait for more news :3 I love how since E3 Dragon Age: Inquisition has literally taken over my life with all of the daily reveals and news that keep me going and hyping. I'm super excited for more keep news, and especially a cc~

I agree, the way I am looking at it is when I am finally exposed to what The Keep is going to offer I will be able to see it in its fully complete state and not to try and imagine what the additional features are going to add to it.

That's pretty much how I feel.

It'd be awesome to get in early and have something DAI related to keep me busy and play with, but it'll be just as awesome when it's finally open to see it in all it's glory!

I'm a little concerned that it'll break the flow and I won't remember what I named the warden and dogs. So my plan is to have the keep open while I play and tick boxes as I play.
