Goes to Keep to check if I got in...site takes hella long time to load...gets excited...thinks it is loading Keep assets....remembers has uTorrent open...cries
Worth posting here from Twitter thread:
Excellent! I was pretty sure this would be possible, but it's nice to have it in black and white. I've got eight world states to store, and I'd rather set them all up at once than have to go back every time I want to start a new game.

From the "have one active at a time" it kind of sounds like you may have to go to the keep to simply "activate" the one you want to import instead of choosing one from inside DAI.
goes to Keep has to sign in, excitedly signs into user name only to see it say "apply for Beta"
I just wanted to play with the keep
Once one passes 40 or 50, time seems to race by quickly. One often ponders, "Wasn't that yesterday?" or some similar thought when recalling memories. The measure of time often can be crafted from paycheck to paycheck, then when those are gone, days become a repetitive blur. Then I decided to pre-order....

I need The Keep. Now.....

probably a stupid question, but when is this being officially released?

Yeah, I worded that badly. I meant that I won't have to go through and make three hundred choices every time I want to start a new game.

We all do, my friend. We all do. Here, have a sad pony.

We don't know. Probably September, as the vague answer is that they plan to put it out a month or so before the game.
man i want in the beta so bad! want to know what i can expect for the release of keep and want to help make that experience as easy as possible... would like to see some images of it at least, because so far i havnt seen anything about it other than whats been described

I'm sure there will be a nice, descriptive announcement at some point.
I do wonder if the images in Lady Insanity's video are from the Keep though. They looked pretty neat, and in line with the game theme of stained glass.
I'm pretty sure all the images in the video were game footage, not from the keep unless they're reusing them.

I know most of them were. But there were one or two images of characters or stained glass form with a small description of them that I'd never seen before. I think one was Gaspard?
EDIT: at 6:57 on her video you can see the Gaspard slide. I've never seen it before, but it's possible it's been floating around somewhere I hadn't noticed.

That image looks like it came from that Image of Thedas fashion by nationality awhile back, though I'm going by memory. I've never seen it in that context though, or related to Gaspard.
Let's just pretend it's from the Keep so I can keep my excitement level up
so it just occurred to me this keep is going to be crazy . since everyone has multiple worlds to create and then the decision of which one do I use for which inquisition character and then which do I reuse with different party members for possible different scenarios o.0
Sounds like a good dilemma to have ![]()
My protagonists sometimes had minds of their own, and made decisions almost without my input. Sometimes, in the moment, they acted "against" their prevailing character. Sometimes it's hard for me to remember which choice they made, but I feel like they wouldn't really be the same person if I put a lot of wrong choices into the Keep. Especially for minor choices that provide a lot of nuance to the warden's and Hawke's personality. Plus, there's the possibility, Maker forbid, that I misremember the choice when working through the Keep, then remember correctly when the "wrong" consequence happens in the game.
Surely the italed is the only actual problem. If you don't remember the "correct" choice when playing DA:I, how would you ever know that the choice you entered in the Keep wasn't the correct one?
However, I understand that resolving conflicts is probably why starting with an uploaded import is so hard (along with the complexity of save states making it difficult to judge a legitimate save from one riddled with mods or stack overflow exploits). But a sentimental part of me hopes that it's technically possible, if not at release, in some later iteration of the Keep.
Some of what you're hoping for is conceptually impossible. If the save data is simply wrong or contradictory, Bio can't do anything about that.
*rattles the spam folder* Aw come on guys.....
I'm on a mac running parallels and I'd REALLY love to see how it runs for a system like mine.
Completely off topic, but I have to say that I love your siggy!

The Keep is a website, running it on a mac has nothing to do about it.
I just have one question. I recently changed my Origin email, but did my keep application with my old Origin email. Will it go to my new Email or old one?
It will go to your new one.
