I've remarked at other times that a great advantage of the Keep is that I no longer feel the need to be obsessively completionist about my playthroughs if I want to import them for fear of missing something that may turn out to be important.

Perhaps we should move from sacrificing unbelievers to taking those who have already gotten in. Maybe their luck would rub off on us then... xDDD

Le Sigh. Still no beta access. I even tried logging in right now to see if I just overlooked the mail or something, lol. I get a crazy amount of spam in my spam folder so I get worried that I will miss it.

They're looking into it, but last we heard was 'probably not'.
I prefer that they focus on putting in questions and stuff. Making it as awesome as can be for when the rest of us can get in
Well, since I haven't got an origin account or internet in my 360, I really hope we get to import our saves, bugged or not.
( I have learned to live with them, my overactive imagination takes care of the rest.)

A part of me is really anxious to get into the Keep. I even created a spreadsheet of 6 different world-states based on 5 Warden-->Hawke scenarios + 1 for the evil (or couldn't bring myself to play) choices. I viewed codex entries and epilogue slides at the end of the Origins and Awakening. I reviewed my notes to make sure I was giving myself the widest range of world states I could think of. ----- Yes, I know that sounds compulsive. On the PC I've used so many different mods that it was the best way to keep track of which ones worked for me and which companion mods I used with which Warden. I still plan on creating my own after I finish my fanfic.
Back to the Keep, a part of me wants to get into the Keep right now. The other part of me is willing to wait until it's officially released in all its bugfree, enhanced glory.
Another part of me has been thinking, (always a bad sign when the third part gets involved, but there you go), maybe my first or second playthrough should be the default world-state. If I really want to experience and savor the differences between Bioware's world-state and mine I should play theirs. Does anybody else plan on playing the default as well as one of their own? Or do you plan on using your world-state(s) exclusively? (If you have the option, of course. I know some have concerns about their access)

There's nothing special about "Bioware's world state", it's just a set of default choices that they purposely picked to have the least baggage carry over into DAI from previous games. It's not really an official canon or anything.
There isnt really an official canon at all (unlike ME). They have a worldstate in the books as well. I assume that has a US warden though?

The books use a different canon, I think it uses the writers canon from their gameplay. Where the default canon that you can pick in the game is as many loose ends closed up as possible.
I won't play on default, I never have except Origins (because we had to), I've loved imports carrying over since Suikoden did it and will use it every time. I really wish more games would do it
I'm not saying there is anything special about the default, and I love importing my world-states from one game to the next. But they are my decisions, including who I romanced and whether I sided with the elves or the werewolves. Did I sacrifice Connor or go to the Circle? The default is going to have one scenario which obviously can't be influenced by my gameplay. I'm curious to see just how much difference my choices make in flavoring the world and I don't see how that curiosity can be satisfied unless I play at least once with the default. Most of the time I played DA2 with imports but I did play one default. It wasn't as enjoyable but still fun. *shrugs* I also plan on playing several times. If I thought I would only play once or twice then no, I probably wouldn't play the default unless I had trouble importing. Which. Is. Not. Going. To. Man, I had a true moment of elation today when I opened my email and found my invitation to the closed beta. Think Pharrell's "Happy" for a second. However I instantly ran into issues accessing the Keep and couldn't actually log in, but it will likely not be anything that Bioware has done - so no glitch can be blamed.
I've shot off an email to them to see if my issue accessing the Keep beta can be worked out, so now I'm back to keeping my fingers crossed.

I think he was hoping for direct importWithout internet in your 360 how could you use the Keep even if it did import?
