I also think the Keep explains the story of DAO/DA2.
From what I've understood it's possible if you've never played to understand what you're doing. There should be some context.
As long as Sten isn't referred to as "a good kid" ![]()

True. All I was saying is that, if I as a beta tester hadn't heard about this info specifically, you might wanna recheck your source for that claim. That being said, it's something that could have gone over my head entirely.
Well, do they share a general roadmap to the beta-testers? Because if so, I bet this would be the most up to date information on what they are still planing to do...
P.S.: I just realised this scratched pretty close to the edge. So as clarification: No, I was not asking him (for whatever stupid reason) to reveal any actual information.

Just realized we haven't sent any #dragonagekeep invites out in a while - we should prob fix that.
Will be checking my email all day now...
I was wondering is the Keep the reason why the game got delayed this time?
No
I was just trying to figure out a reason and Keep is the only that came to my mind that might be causing issues lol

They've said that the keep had nothing do do with it, they weren't even sure if the Keep release would also be bumped back.

They explained it when they announced the date would be moved back. It's because of bug testing/polish. Nothing to do with the Keep - as Heimdall said, they don't even know if this will affect release of the Keep at all. They may just take an extra month with that, just because now they can, but there's no guarantee of anything yet.
Words from the Keeper of the Keep.
Good luck, and consolations to my fellow sad pandas
Well you just ensured that I will be checking my e-mail a bazillion times today
I was wondering is the Keep the reason why the game got delayed this time?
I think it was delayed due to the fact that there is so much riding on the success of DAI, like the future of Dragon Age Lore...and so they want to make the game as good as it can be without totalling pissing us all off like they did with DA2...which in my opinion wasn't super bad, it just could have been in a bigger world to explore, things wouldn't repeat, and that the story was longer and better, but the fast pace combat, some new cool designs when it came to armor and weapons, and also Varrac was a great plus to DA2, those were the only ups to DA2. maybe a few of the other companions but i am not sure

Alright #dragonagekeep beta hopefuls the invites are heading out now - good luck everyone
Out of curiosity; I know that even if you miss the email you can still log onto the site and get in to the keep that way - but does your username get added to the site before the email is sent out?
Like, would someone be able to just log in to the keep page, to see if they were let in at the start of each wave; and know if they got in or not?
Just something that comes to mind everytime they say that a beta wave is going out. ![]()

I felt DA2 was good just that it lacked different areas per descriptions, best example is the "Elven Ruins Map" in DA2

While I wasn't a fan of DA2 when it first came out (I actually put it down shortly after I first started playing it, because of a lot of issues I had, and only actually ended up completing it last winter) I must stress this: I don't actually feel like I wasted my money - unlike a number of other games I have bought recently (one of which was only $8)
Recently, I started playing DA2 again, and I've been enjoying it much more than I had on my initial run. There are most certainly issues with it - but comparing it with other games I've played recently (mainly one in particular which came *highly* recommended, and I was able to find *very* cheap) I've found I actually sort of prefer DA2.
As for what you said about the "only" good parts - uh, Aveline? Isabella? Heck, I thought most of the companions were really well done, even on my first playthrough. What really killed it for me early on was how it felt like no matter what choice I made, it felt like all of the quests had a predetermined conclusion. :\

probably.
Why are you talking about DA2 in the Keep thread? I think it has its own forums.
