I doubt it'll be September, but before the game for sure.
I'd assume they're still looking at a month early - so early to mid October.
At first I wanted to write that September is a month before November. Then I realised I was stupid... *facepalm*

It's OK, we all wish we could skip October and get to the game faster.

Would it really hurt at this point a video showing some features? Some of us are canine already.

We might get something at Gamescom.
I just hope we get beta invites this week.

We don't really do Halloween here. But since PAX AUS starts on the 31st, I guess we can all skip to the last day

I said I'd post this here about a week ago. I'm doing one more run through of the series before DAI comes out, following my chosen "canon" path. This time, I'm recording it for posterity (And so I can refer to it when I want to remember what choices to put into the Keep
) I'm editing it together as a sort of "movie" focusing on story and dialogue with just enough combat to maintain some sense of pacing.
I've never really edited a video before, so I hope it turns out well. I've decided to wait until I have all my Origins footage before making episode 2.

Dragon Age Keep apparently has its own twitter now, with invites being sent out in "celebration". https://twitter.com/DragonAgeKeep/
Unless we are being trolled.

An official update on the Keep as well http://blog.bioware....ge-keep-update/ and an official FAQ http://forum.bioware...-age-keep-faqs/
They are delaying the Keep to go along with the game. 5 world states can be saved at a time. Other than that, nothing new. Still no images, at least one window has to be final... come on...

Also means that for a future DA4, we won't be able to keep a world-state for every unique DAI romance.

Nooooooooo! Absolutely NOT "compatible with previous DA games." Trying to do that is what introduced the bad flags to begin with. ![]()
A fresh start, that's what we need. ![]()
Allow the players to enter the decisions they made in their previous games, but please don't try to "import" the faulty info that was being passed from DAO-to-DAA-to-DA2.

There are a few things in the latest FAQ I am not completely in agreement with.
1) You can only create 5 world states. One would expect that on this forum a good amount of members have played DAO and/or DA2 for more than just 5 times. I wonder how many saved games once can have for DAI.
2) Another point brought up was that you have to go to the Keep to first select the world state you want to use for your next game to then be able to use that particular world state in DAI. I find that a rather roundabout way to choose a world state. In my opinion being able to select a world state within the game client itself would have been better.
At least we finally got the final answer concerning importing saves (which will not happen).

Yeah, only five is a bit sad. I mean there's 6 origins in DA:O, right? So it shouldn't be that much of a surprise that several fans have at least 6 world states going forward.
Also means that for a future DA4, we won't be able to keep a world-state for every unique DAI romance.
You're always able to tweak existing world states, however. I can't speak for why this particular restriction exists (I don't know), but in terms of being able to experience the different content you'll never be blocked off.
Might be good to ask the Keep if that number could grow over time?

Someone did: "Not at this time, sadly. This may change in the future though, so stay tuned!"

I find this one a bit annoying...some little things about the Keep are just inconveniant.
I'm sure the Keep itself is very well done , but I'm sad I've used some save creator created by modders that were just more user friendly.
I just don't like the fact that there is no save file at all , and every data seems to be some sort of Cloud or streamed data informations...

Yeeeeah not very happy with this five world states limit. That doesn't even cover the six different origins from DAO. So what gives, if we have six playthroughs following each one of the origins, we'll have to just completely trash one of our Wardens?
Was this just not brought up at all by anyone in the beta, or was it an arbitrary decision based on technical limitations or whatnot? Because six origins, five world states is a really obvious issue to just slip by unnoticed this many months into the beta, come on.

I guess I'll need to keep my spreadsheet after all, if I can only store five world states at a time. (I've got seven at the moment and I'm planning to make an eighth with all the stuff I never actually did in the previous games.)

After Reading the FAQ and see that there will be sadly no Character creater in DA keep, personally i would really like that in the keep.
But i have discussed this with some of my gaming friends even if they put something like this in Dragon age keep fans would still use it, they may say that the warden or hawke doesnt look the way they did in the previous games but they still would use it and use it in DAI.
Even if it is difficult with a new Engine bioware could at least put a rudimentary program with the same default faces you had to choose in each beginning , then and people would have at least a month to make the face as detailed as possible.
