As long as I can use the world state of my only DA2 completion which used my last and most complete DAO completion then I'll be solid.
If you can remember your choices then im sure u can ![]()

so we all are going to have a default looking Hawke? that's a bit disappointing.

No. There's discussion of this in other threads in this forum, but the short version is that Mike Laidlaw has said that we would be able to determine the appearance of any previous protagonists that appear.
We don't yet know how, but it won't be through the Keep.

awesome! The OP should be updated then. there was emphatic "No!" to the response of using CC for hawke and warden
Yeah the Op should be updated, but dont know wether the post author visits the topic. Maybe the bioware mods should take a hand in it (not the devs) rather than lurking

Oh thank the maker. I've been trying to find this out since i heard of DA Keep. At first i figure we were just never gonna see the characters again because we didnt have a CC for them in the keep. Then i figured, "but thats kind of a massive spoiler and will let alot of fans down" so that couldnt be it. All in all, really grateful for the info, thank you!
Give me the Keep!
Ow. Images like that can trigger issues.
Will DAK keep a copy of our world state if we want to replay?
Is it possible to edit an already existing world state?,so if we want to replay with just few different decisions we won't have to redo all other decisions.
It has been said there are five slots for you to save and I am 100% sure, but I think they have said you can edit the files.

It shouldn't though, because most likely the CC won't be in the keep, it'll be in the game itself

That's because there isn't a CC in Keep.
It has been said that if Hawke and/or the Warden appear in Inquisition, there will be a CC in inquisition for you to adjust their appearance. The appearance of your Hawke or Warden(hair color, hair length, eye shape, etc) doesn't affect a single choice in the game, and as such, there is absolutely no reason to include a CC in the Keep.
So i have this theory on how the keep will function or rather the feel of it. I imagine it will have the same vibe as the story telling element DA2 had, with cassandra or varric telling how it all began and you fill in the details as the story goes along. I imagine there to be a large book graphic like the one she had with her at hawke's house and it opens up and the story of dragon age begins. There could also be little mini "cartoons" or well graphics depicting major events/choices made throughout your journey.
Now this is probably nonsensical waffle on my part but i think it would look kinda awesome if it were to have that vibe. And also if this is the wrong place to put these kind of musings then i apologise .
Yeah something like could work. Still lots of Alt-tabbing, going back through journal entries etc.
Or alternatively it would be like going through the games again like a telltale games adventure without the quicktime events but with decisions that actually make a difference.
Well, did you play Mass Effect 2/3's Genesis addons? I could totally rock-on with them of they teamed up with Dark Horse for Dragon Age Keep and did that.
The only thing I didn't like about Genesis was how it was not optional once it was installed, even for imported games it would run (just with no choices) and so I ended up doing a cut and paste whenever I wanted to do an imported game. Being online though, Keep shouldn't have that problem.
No I never did look at genesis but it sounds like it played a similar role to the keep in creating a 'world state' for ME3.Well, did you play Mass Effect 2/3's Genesis addons? I could totally rock-on with them of they teamed up with Dark Horse for Dragon Age Keep and did that.

The question is whether you'll be able to use a CC in the Keep for the Warden or Hawke.
The answer to that is 'no.'
I should have clarified, I interpreted (wrongly) that we couldn't import our characters' appearances from previous iterations of Dragon Age games by deducing that saves cannot be imported nor could we character create Warden or Hawke.
Does that mean saves can now be imported?

No. Saves cannot be imported.
so how are we not getting default hawke or warden look? what am I missing? ![]()

You will be able to edit their appearance in Inquisition, probably through some form of CC in game.

ah ok. Thank you! I won't say anything else for fear someone will correct me again.
It's good to ask questions.. how else do we find out things?
There is a good pool of knowledge on here, and before it was edited. It was difficult to find out info on the keep.
we must use the force to get in
