Good Question. And I did the same thing ^_^

I hope for 10 slots. I have 8 Wardens that feel unique to me (male and female Human Noble have minor unique endings and there are an elven and a human mage) With 10 I would even have two slots left one for my evil-pt and one for my husband.

And as long as it's not clear, whether or not DAI progress is stored seperately I wont rely on using one slot for different WS.

10 is a really good number. I'd use every one if they made them available. It would be double the memory allocation, I know. 6 is kind of the bare bones minimum to save and play off the major unique story branches to me, at 20% greater memory per account, so that's why it's what I'm specifically asking for. But I agree with you. 10 would open up every major story avenue (and weapon spec and romance etc).

And I won't be deleting keep states to replace either. After a certain point, constantly rebuilding worldstates from scratch just gets too unwieldy and difficult, and my worldstates are all intended to carry forward perpetually. I think DA:I might be that point, because I (thankfully) expect a lot of variance again. So if five were to be the final answer, I'd definitely have to throw one completely unique one out and give up on it until they change their mind. I don't even know how I'd decide that, because it effects every game out in the future too. I hope we won't have to do that. It's not enough for me to get to a 'toy around with it' just for curiosity playthrough in Dragon Age. So it's not enough leeway for me to feel good about or consider a delete and replace ws slot.

As I've said before, the only logical answer is that the import world states are entirely different to the DAI save states.  That way one can be changed, updated or deleted without affecting the other.

That is an interesting question about what languages the keep is in. Wonder if they'll answer that

Is the Keep when it is on only in English or there are also other languages?

The Keep was supposed to be releasing in a week or two. Damn push backs. I wish release dates weren't announced until dev was almost finished.

They never gave a date. Just that it would be released in plenty of time before DA:I.

The devs said that the more slots the higher risk of bugs and mistakes. But I too hope they can give a higher number, just as long as it's still stable.

They said "a few months before DA:I". If DA:I wasn't pushed back a few months would be about now.

It was a month before. Was the general consensus before the extra time

Like Kantar said, it wasn't "a few months".  It was "a few weeks", so "about a month".

And we've already had confirmation that the release of the Keep will be pushed back to keep the same lead time ahead of the game.

So now those of us who aren't Beta Testers are anticipating our first look at it around the first week of October.

I still don't follow this. If you can't remember the choices you made, how would you ever know that you got one wrong when using the Keep?

That is fair, I'm just not sure I can explain it properly.  I want each of my world states to be the proper one that I created from each of my playthroughs.  I can't explain it other than to say it is going to bother me knowing that it might not be the case.  Mental disorder on my part?  Perhaps.

No **** people. If the game wasn't pushed back the Keep would be releasing a week or so from now. That's basically the same as what everybody is telling me. Wow.

Its because of external restrictions upon them, both Microsoft and Sony are very protective of their networks and it might be more open on the PC, but at least 2/3rds of their player base is locked behind a console where developers have to follow specific rules. For instance in an old interview about The Keep it was said that unless they are in a game they are unable to do anything with a player's save file.

So it really becomes what will work for everyone instead of making individual parts of the software dependent on different platforms, that way in my opinion we all get a better product its just more limited to its inputs.

I'm not sure that is an excuse seeing as they are creating a completely different UI just for the PC platform.  But I understand what you are trying to say.

You can hardly use a console UI with KB&M

That's pretty clear, actually. I wouldn't call it a mental disorder or anything, but it is a bit like that old Steven Wright joke:

"Last night somebody broke into my apartment and replaced everything with exact duplicates"

About the language, since its a web browser kinda like this one, I'd imagine (opinion not fact) that it can be set to the language you want, like BSN can be.

That is funny.  I can even hear it in Steven Wright's very distinctive voice.

Every bad console port would disagree with you.  Not that I would want to do it here.

What I meant is while you can have a console UI. It doesnt work.

Although this is nothing to do with the keep :)

Just have to say, that is my favorite Steven Wright joke!

Getting that out of my system, I'm hoping that at least the keep is out before my birthday. I was going to get DA:I as an early birthday present for myself, but I'll take the keep as a consolation.

if so i share it. I made a lot of decisions thorugh my two playthroughs that felt nuanced and informaed by the context of the game at the time, but there is littlechance I could remember them all now. Id hate to have to wing it :(

Don't forget about the Dragon Age Wiki. It'll be a handy tool for jogging your memory if a minor quest decision in the Keep has you stumped.

I'm definitely going to need the wiki.  I looked at three of the questions, and could only remember the answer to one!
