so I have to link my PS3 to the web find Dragon age keep (can it be found on PSN), then import my saves of DAO and DA2 to keep so I can use my choices in DAI

No.

1. Once the Keep opens, you can go to the website on any device that has a browser. There is no option to directly import your choices from previous games, you need to set them manually.

2. When you get Inquisition, you will need to connect your PS3 to the internet. The game itself will then contact the website and you can download the history you set up.

...I get that not everyone has been following the information following the Keep, but it seems like people just automatically assume the most complicated course of action.

People could also just read page 1 of this very thread and in 99.99% of cases their question will have been answered in the FAQ posted there.

Allow me to present something to everyone coming in every few pages asking if there is an import option for their old saves.

The Dragon Age Code

There is no import, there is the Keep.

There is no import, there is the Keep.

There is no import, there is the Keep.

There is no import, there is the Keep.

I tried to vary it a little bit, but then figured, how much more needs to be said?

I wonder if they will be able to provide some sort of tool that can analyze our old saves and tell us what we decided, so we know what to input at the Keep??

...That would be like an import.  So, clearly, and sadly, no.

I think if you look in the story xml files, you might be able to tell. If you could match quest id's perhaps.

The wiki will be great for that kind of stuff, you find yourself in the keep and asked "did so and so get back this and such?"  head over to wiki look up so and so and there is the backstory and it should jog your memory. No need for xml files, quest id's or gigantic spreadsheets.

I'm hoping someone who has dealt with DA:Origins and DA2 save game files will create an app for that.

Any updates on more invites being send out?

Nope.  Unsurprising they're timid to invite new people after the recent breach of trust.

I wonder what qualities they filter for their invites.

It can't be date of application, I was there from the very start.

And it evidently can't be only experienced-closed-beta applicants how the leak proved.

Probably various age groups, past history with the series, systems, etc.

I think they said they had over 100,000 applicants so It's unsurprising most people haven't gotten in.

They've said before it's not based on applied date.

I wish they would send out some more invites, I'm still waiting and hoping.

I've settled in until it launches in October, myself. :D

I thought I wrote a very compelling blurb in my application, so knowing I'm wrong puts a damper on my fan enthusiasm...

I dont know what I wrote now, I do wish I could have changed it though. I think I might have said something about sharing? Not knowing there was a NDA

Hmmm, a fair question. The answer is an almost-certain no, but I'll need to broaden the Code. Also, providing an alternate Code, for the.....less moral, among us.

DA Keep Code(modified):

There is no Origins save, there is the Keep

There is no DA2 save, there is the Keep

There is no save analyzer, there is the Keep

There is no import, there is the Keep

An alternate code, for the Sith in all of us:

'Canon' is a lie, there is only choice.
Through choice, I gain characters.
Through characters, I gain playthroughs.
Through playthroughs, I gain saves.
Through saves, my imports are broken.
The Keep shall set me free.

I think the second one is better.

People who actually want to beta? I applied because I wanted to be part of the beta, to help test it, to report bugs, to make suggestions, etc - not just so I could take a quick peek out of curiosity and call it a day. The fact that hundreds of people who actually wanted to help, to be involved with the growing process of the Keep, now have probably zero chance of getting in anymore until the public launching, when it's all done and there's nothing we can contribute anymore, because one jerk who only applied to take screencaps and run got in just in time to damage the whole rest of us is pretty annoying.

They just stated on their Twitter that they will be sending out another round of invites soon.... don't hate on them if you don't get them though please. They can't invite everybody.
