Sounds like a great solution :) Wonder if it will allow you to save multiple world states under one Origin account? And presumably it will connect directly to DA3, updating your world state for use in future games?

Yes, very neat. And yay, no need to keep save files any more!

I think it's an absolutely fascinating idea, and it's exactly what I was hoping to see (at least in theory). I'm looking forward to see how it comes out in practice!

It's probably the same password you use here, which is the same password you use to connect to the Dragon Age servers whenever booting up Origins or DA2.

I think it's an inspiring idea - Might start playing Dragon Age again in the foreseeable future as this 'Keep'-beta is released, to see how it works.

Finally, no more bugged Zevran and Nathaniel if this is true.

Great news!!! I do hope the Zevran's romance is fixed even though it's irrelevant to the story

Does anyone know if DA2 saves have DA:O data saved in them? If they work out save imports I'm hoping we just need to import DA2.

How exactly does importing work? Will I have to log in with the same account or does The Dragon Keep generate a file I can download from a browser?

Every time Bioware announces something about this game, it is something great. As a grumpy old-school rpg player, that is very much set in his ways, I can`t help but predict that DA:I will be one of the greatest crpgs ever made. The replay vallue is allready immense, due to this and the inclusion of races for the PC. You heard it here first: DA:I will be a game other rpgs will be weighed up against in the future.

My guess is that it's tied to your account. Signing up for the beta required a forum account.

My best guess is that it doesn't have all the variables, but they won't use more then the ones in Dragn Age 2 imports unless you can import from both games so you can import those choices as well.

awesome news. I glad i can get my Ps4 verison and still my world state. Also glad ppl on BSN can stop asking the question every few days.

For now, it sounds like you can recreate your saves from memory.  However, Mark did suggest that they are trying to come up with a way for your to import previous saves.

This is a great solution for two reasons. There is the obvious issue of crossing platforms or engines. It also allows players to explore an alternative choice without having to play through two full games in order to change one or two things. It will make replaying DA:I a lot more accessible.

How stating Warden's and Hawke's attributes will affect Da:I I wonder.

"What about actually importing your save games? We are continuing to investigate ways in which save files from previous games could be used to populate the initial world state of the Dragon Age Keep. We’ll provide more information on this in the months to come".

They are going to be using Origin's cloud save capabilities so its going to be stored online so you can download the history that way.  Its like when the character creater was released for Dragon Age: Origins, you uploaded your character to the internet and when you signed in with that account you could download that character to the game.

I really like that.  I can pick any choice I want without replaying the games.  Now, I can delete DA1&2 from my hdd :)

Looks good.

But I wonder, Hmmm....Couldn't they just put this into the game itself? Or maybe it would have messed up something?
