Wait, how do you find your uploaded characters? I have checked around my profile and couldn't find it so I guessed that the feature was deleted in the move.

Open your forum profile (click on your name way up there topmost right of the header), and look under BioWare Character Links, under About Me and Community Stats. They should be there. Alternatively, you can just click on the little icons under your avatar representing the games you own to be taken directly to your profiles.

This only appears if you have registered your game with the BSN, though. Since you don't have any icons under your av, you might not have registered them, or made a new account and not linked your games to this one.

OMG! The Keep looks amazing  <3. I'm even more excited about it now.

@ LadySatsuki: I never played Dragon Age on a console so I don't know about the PC vs. console difference. But what I can tell you is that PC players must install a software called "Origin" (without the "s"). It's a digital distribution software and a download manager from EA. Something like Steam (but not as good).

http://en.wikipedia....bution_software)

https://www.origin.com/de-de/store/

You had to create an account there with the same name or email address that you used for Dragon Age. That's how you could upload your achievments to your profile page. Since Dragon Age Inquisition uses Origin clients, I assume that it works similar. All users need an Origin account now. That's how the Keep connects with your game.

I created this profile in 2009 and I registered all my games when I got them. I only have this account.

In "General Account Settings" I find something about character links. I think I might have to link them manual.

Edit: Yep, that worked. Just go to http://social.biowar...ayerprofile.php, log in, My Games, Player Profiles and click on your profile for the game and then copy the list and paste it in "General Account Settings".

Yes, sadly you have to link them yourself. It's still on the old BSN and doesn't really work anymore. At least not for me. Neither my Achievments nor my Characters are uploaded anymore. For a few month you couldn't even delete old stuff. They fixed that and for some it uploaded again, but not for all.

So I hope they can move this feature completely to the Keep.

Yeah, I noticed that my new DA2 character wasn't there. :(

. . . . . . . this may be a problem, as I forgot my original account and had to create a new one after the boards revamped.

I still don't see though how it had any connection to my games though. It was just an account I created to chat on the boards with. Again, I think I'm missing something here.

There would be a problem retrieving your existing character information then :-/ ,because the board account and login is the same as your EA Origin account, and that account's what DA:I will import from via the Keep. But!!! Good news. As long as you don't mind recreating them in the Keep with your current account, you'll be able to import them when you link this one to the Keep and DA:I. :) It's essentially like replacing a lost save, I guess.

I have the games registered but they dont appear under my icon.

Ok, I took another look at it. Lord, this is entirely too backwards.

1. Go to your profile here at the forums, enter edit mode. Under General Account Settings -> Bioware Character Links, see if the fields have anything in them. You and Johnny Shepard aren't publicly showing any games under Character Profiles, so I'm assuming those fields will be empty.

2. Go to http://social.bioware.com/ - topmost right, click on your name. Welcome back to the old BSN. On the tabs in your profile there, enter Games, and your registered games should show up there, with links to your profiles. Those will be "(synch my profile)" for DAO and "Dragon Age II - (your platform)" for DA2. You'll want to manually copy the urls of each of your game profiles there, and paste them to those empty fields in your profile here.

3. With your copypastas done, save your stuf here and see if the game profiles now show up under your About Me page here, and if the icons are now showing under your avatar. That should do the trick.

This is insanely backwards, but I kinda remember this is how I figured it out for my profiles too, when the forums moved. If anyone knows of a more efficient way to do this, please do speak up.

eta: looks like JS figured it out before I finished typing, so. Ninja'd. His way is faster too.

That's just it! I DIDN'T use a name or email address for Dragon Age! When you load your DA game in the console you just stick the disc in it and it downloads the game file into the PS3. When you boot it up it doesn't ask for any sort of login name/address or anything, it just takes you to the menu!

Again though, it was just an account I created, I didn't think or know of any connection to the game whatsoever. I didn't even know how to connect it to the game.

Did this. :) And I just noticed that my new character was uploaded but to another gametag. I switched gametag on my XBox 360 because I had trouble with it and it was in the middle of the playthrough so I expected my new character to be on the old one also, but it wasn't.

But my Story is blank on most of my DLC-characters. :(

Most strange, that the moderators keep deleting my posts with strange "spam" reasoning and all yours still are left intact... Well, this just prove my point that the "truth" I give to all you readers (speaking about the silent viewers) is seen as a direct treat. My posts keep focusing on relevant facts and deep explanations, but of course its not "hit" to speak about rope in hanged mans house, well, sorry EA, but your reputation is even worse (in polls) then many companies that actually affect the real life world far more, so why not ban me right away? I'll just be back in another reincarnation when all my predictions (as told) will have become the full blown truth, as with the Mass Effect 3 ending, don't worry!

Just to note as i saw this at the start of the video while the keep was updating for the first time, if you have not gotten any of the promo stuff you can download them for free now from the old bioware social site .. the link is http://social.biowar...da2/dlc_bundle/  its all just rings and amulets and stuff but i did notice they were included in the keep so anyways there you go.

I can't wait to get my hands on the Keep.  I didn't watch the Q & A portion of the video though, because this PS3 browser sucks.

Glad your characters made it! I wanted to say I'm bitterly jealous that your characters are there all pretty and mine are still gone, but then I noticed we're like Origins soulmates, because I played like fifty hundred variations of Sword and Shield Aedan too, so we're cool. Cousland high five! B)

yay all of that worked for me too.  I'd never been on any BioWare forums until a month or so ago, so I had to make a whole new account on the old ones.  Oh well got it now.

Of course the other problem is that most of the info is wrong (I have a character for each origin in Origins, and I beat DA2 unlike what it says) because I rarely if ever have my PS3 online unless I have to

Job for tomorrow: try to convince the BSN to upload my Wardens and Hawkes properly. Some of them never uploaded at all, and others have no story information. (There may not be a fix for that.)

Only I'd probably better decide which five world states I want to make first, which I still haven't managed to do.

I actually only played 2 of them. Most are only me trying to make the character look right and then was disappointed when I started the game and had to redo it. :P Took me one night and half a day before I had made one I was satisfied with. :D

But I now see that the Story is blank on my DLC-characters. :(

Yeah, I agree. We have to get them to fix this now that it's a big part of Keep. Before, it wasn't that important but now...
