It doesnt matter. The game is not tied to origins id on consoles.
The BSN profiles won't support inquisition anyway and all the choices you made in the past two games will need to be recreated in the keep

My new worry is that importing heroes will be the only way to customise my Warden and Hawke's appearances and if I can't get the hero importing feature to work I'll be out of luck.
Where does the information in the FAQ that we can customise the Warden and Hawke ingame come from? I know Mike Laidlaw heavily implied we'll be able to customise appearances but he didn't specify where we'd do that, hence my above worry.

You can't customise them in the keep though, the portraits are only used to distinguish between them.
There's probably a very good reason why they havent specified

I believe that he explicitly stated that they wouldn't use Hawke or the Warden in this game without giving people the option to customize them. Presumably this will take place in DA:I itself, as it will not be happening on the Keep.

It would feel less like my world state if my heroes don't look like how I designed them to look.

Actually, there is ONE DLC from Origins that will NOT be part of the Keep.
Darkspawn Chronicles was an alternate timeline where Duncan didn't find any warden/the Warden died during the joining.
Or is Bioware willing to go with an Inquisition that has little to nothing living in Ferelden?

So stoked that the voice of Varric is narrating part of the Keep, too! That'll make it that much more awesome
Does anyone know what ISS stands for, though?

Still this Q & A doesn't reveal everything & does not answer most of anything, especially the important factors.
1. Internet Connections being 56K Dial Up to Wi Fi, I know I talk about this all the time, but still nothing solid has been CONFIRMED.
2. Considering Consoles Require DSL to Wi Fi to connect or Boot Up & Read & Access the Origns Account I don't think 56K Dial Up would Access Consoles or Upload.
3. Still has not been confirmed if USB Flash Drives could be a Possible Choice.
4. Basically people who are Unable to Connect to a Console Online more than likely will have to play Inquisition on DEFAULT.
Nothing has been talked about concerning people who have no ONLINE ACCESS, what are there options & what will they have to do.
Such as No talk has been talked about between the console versions & how much each console version of Inquisition Varies such as what is the Diffrence between PS3 Inquisition & PS4 Inquisition, such as Features to other deals.
More Solid Info on KEEP is Needed, More info is also needed for people who can not GET ONLINE.
My friends are confused I showed them this Q & A deal & it still has them stratching their Heads.
Many don't know heads or tails about the DK such as How to Access it, Upload it or What To Do.
Many are on Dial Up being they can not get Online with a Console. So Bioware needs to make a FAQ explaining what are there OPTIONS.
Me, I am taking my PS3 & My Laptop, to my Relatives then I will use my Origins Account, Many of my Friends do not have that Luxury so I feel Bad for them.
Many said they may skip If Inquisition does not have a normal Direct Import.
I told them Inquisition should be fine even without DK APP many of my Friends are just Mad & Confused.
I told them WAIT & SEE. For now I am back on Playing Tale of Xillia 2.

I remember hearing it during the video, but I don't know what ISS means either. I doubt it's International Space Station or In-School Suspension. So stoked that the voice of Varric is narrating part of the Keep, too! That'll make it that much more awesome

Now, it might mean something different with The Keep, but one of my old programming teachers used ISS for Initial Starting Screen. The problem with acronyms is they can be used as a shorthand, but only a small group of people might know what it means.

You forgot about Golems of Amgarrak, that doesn't seem to affect anything in the Keep's choices either.
Additionally, I didn't see anything for the Return to Ostagar DLC in the Keep's DAO section in the Keep video either (which is odd, considering that there was a flag from that DLC about what you did with Cailan's corpse that got imported into DA2....)

According to the wiki it was a "dead flag" with no consequence in the game either.

So I saw this video:
Its the closed beta unveiled and I have few questions I hope that people that know can help and I hope the devs will answer them
1. if I didn't play the first game and the second and I don't have the games in origin can I still use the keep and create a save ?
2. If my friend have played the games and I want to use his saves can I do that ?
3. For The Keep to work I have to enter to my origin account or I can insert the saves some how to the keep ?
4. If I did played the both games but I don't have all of the dlcs will I still have the option in the keep to use them ?
Hope that these questions will be answer ![]()

I will try to answer ..
1 .I think you just need a origin account. You also need to use the same origin account you're going to use when you're going to play DAI.
2.Your friends can create their story on the Keep , and then they can share their wardens/Hawke story with you, via the Keep.
3Origin account , past saves files are useless.
4.You can pick up choices for the DLC you didn't buy .

1. Yes.
2. You can share Keep world states between friends, yes.
3. It's connected to your Origin account.
4. All decisions in the Keep related to DLC can be made even if you didn't actually purchase or play through the DLC originally.

After watching the PAX-Prime reveal (great job, BTW!) the only question I have left about the Keep is: "What happens to my 'saved' world-states after they are used to start a DA:I play-through?"
If I build 5 different world-states in the Keep, and start 5 DA:I games using each of those 5 as the starting points, can I then delete those 5 world-states and create 5 more without affecting the 5 games I've already started?

You will not have any impact on your games if you have created them in Inquisition, now there has been talk of a sync feature that updates as you are playing the game, but they haven't talked about it much so I am not sure if it is still in The Keep or not.

Yep. It's been confirmed that you have to connect your console (or PC) to the website once in order to download information from the Keep. There is no offline option at this time.

So here's something really odd and I have no idea if we can use it or not with regards to the Keep, butttttt thought I'd mention it anyway...
So as we all know now, we can't sync our DAO characters online to our BSN/Origin Profile anymore due to some f***ed-up issues with the DA servers since they switched over to Origin. ![]()
However.... apparently, you can still upload a character made in the DAO Character Creator software to your Profile. ![]()

I got to say, I'm having no luck with these Keep codes today. XD Just tried the second one Ladyinsanity posted as soon as it popped up on my screen - got an error message when I hit "next" saying I didn't enter a code in. Typed it in again, and it was already to late. X_X
Oh well lol

Unless you're talking about just the "story" tab not updating, this isn't really true. I've gotten my character list to update recently with no issue. It seems that everyone has been having varying degrees of success with the site. I know my equipment list, achievements, and stats update on my characters - and it will register new characters I make no problem.
Again, can't say the same for the "story", however. That is still just a blank page.
