Where must people live to be limited to 56K in 2014? Sheesh.

I don't want to sound mean or dismissive, but I didn't even know dial-up still existed.

Yeah, I did a EVERYONE DIES playthrough and was pretty surprised by the total body count in the end.

I thought the story was imported from the BSN forum as well, at least that's what it looked like to me, and we could edit the choices reflected to make sure they were correct.

I, too, understood that part of the Reveal to mean; "to the extent the Keep is able to retrieve your previously stored world-state(s) (although back then it was just called your character's "story") from the BSN, it would do so."   You would then have the ability to verify and modify as you liked within the Keep to establish a world-state for DA:I.  This isn't so much a "save import" as a reverse engineering of the elements of the "story" into the plot-flags used by  the Keep.  Pretty clever reverse engineering, I'd say.

Obviously there are many, many, decisions one made in the course of an entire run-through that never got stored on the BSN at all, so those will have to be set manually.  But this'll save at least some of the work/remembering.  My thanks to the BioWare devs who implemented it!

It actually won't pull through any story elements, you need to set all of them yourself.

All it brings from the BSN are your Hawke's/Warden's name/class/race/gender.

Exactly. Although that would have been cool, if it did.

Go on twitter, follow & retweet @nerdappropiate then you can be in the chance to win a code.

(I should not say that as I am hoping to be chosen)

I was stalking princessstabbity's dev twitter thing too but I looked away to check a text message, and when I looked back up, they were just uploaded, but by the time i tried to input them they were long gone ;_; the struggle.

I shall persevere!!!

Maybe since they're being less secretive about who gets in it means we'll get in sooner than we hoped.

Ugh, I'm just made infinitely sadder by seeing people saying stuff like "lol I just spent five minutes fiddling with the thingies and never logged back in again." WHY DID YOU APPLY THEN. Meanwhile, so many of us who actually wanted to contribute to the beta testing part never got to, and are still sitting here, waiting in vain for that invite that never comes. -_-

/goes off to cry in the rain, for extra flair and dramatics
