They probably shouldn't have shown the synch bit in the keep video. It's gotten a lot of people confused/ getting the wrong idea.
This is the BSN; that happens no matter what gets said.
EDIT: Although, I have to admit it's much better in this iteration than it used to be. So far.

Yay! I've been waiting for some more "you've been chosen" emails from Bioware...
They are still doing that incredibly stupid promotion for Shadow Realms, right?

I think the forum layout helps, So much nicer than the old one

Nah. That's finished now (thankfully)

The layout may help, but I have to give credit to the current users. Seems that so many have of the ***** have either matured, or moved on. Most of the user base was always great to talk to. Now it's even better.

There is still no save importing at all, you will always have to recreate your world state regardless of having BSN-synced characters or not. Read the last couple of pages, Brian just came here to confirm this a few hours ago.
That's not what I meant at all. I've known for months that there's no save importing. I just don't understand what it takes to make sure your warden/hawke makes it to the Origins servers so that I can use them for world state making.

A lot of work for not much benefit. There's no guarantee it will work anyway

Honestly, I wouldn't even worry about it until the Keep is available to all. Because there's no real way to know if whatever "fix" you use will work until such time, anyway.

Yeah, I've noticed everyone seems to be having the problem in that characters don't show up on their profiles. I made a new character just now to test and see if he would show up but apparently not. Hopefully they let us know closer to release how it works. I don't mind starting from scratch, I imagine there has to be an option for those who didn't play the games, it would just be nice for it to work.

Its kinda designed to with people who haven't played the games in mind. It doesn't matter if your hawke or warden make it, you can pick who they were in the keep anyway.
Seriously tho, read previous posts in this thread, you will find answers.

I had to go back to the old site in order to do this... the only way I found to do that was by following the link in this thread: http://forum.bioware...s/#entry7118249
Just click on the link labeled "here" in Jessica Merizan's OP.
However you get back to the old site, you will need to look under "My Games" on the left side of the screen and that should list your registered games... click on one of them to see your characters. Also, if you wind up at an all white screen like I always do, just go up to the address, click the box, and press "Enter" to retry... it should show up the second time. Refresh would probably also work...
And... I think that's all you need to know... This is kind of a roundabout way, but I have no idea how to do this from the current version of the site...

My Dragon Age characters stopped updating over a year ago.
Somehow they even managed to spawn a second profile and that one doesn't update either.

My DAII characters are updating fine, but my DA:O characters haven't registered at all.
Its funny, after the PAX demo I decided to try uploading my Dragon Age: Origins files and it worked fine, but the catch is I deleted everything Dragon Age: Origins in my profile first (both screenshots and saves) to make sure there wasn't anything clogging it up. I was able to upload my six saves with only one minor issue, but I deleted that save in the Diagnostics tab and uploaded it another time and everything properly uploaded. In fact this is the best it has ever worked for me.

I managed to get lost in the thread, is there any word concerning using the Keep to transfer data via usb to an Xbox 360 from one's computer? Thanks.

The only way to upload a world state is via a direct internet connection. No USB option is available.

Hello all just a silly quick question . When I want to access my world state from the Keep into Inquisition , do I just login to my Origin account from my PS4 or do I link them together from the Keep itself ? Kinda weird I know but I haven logged into my PS4 since I got it and had to change password and stuff and it was a pain in the butt lol

You set your current world state in the keep then log in from the game on your ps4 to get the world state into the game.

You'd think that if enough people bugged asked Microsoft and Sony for a way to use USBs then those organizations would be able to come up with a way to use them with the Keep. I have a crafting machine which requires a USB in order for the software to be upgraded. However they had certain requirements and I can not use that USB for anything else or the upgrade will be blocked. It's how they protect their machine.
IMHO it's not good business practice for them to sell a machine which can be used off-line, sell a game which has an on-line component and not provide some mechanism, even a convoluted one, to work around internet restrictions. Or maybe I should say I don't think it's good customer service.
