I was allowed to skip the DA:I line at gamescom because I screamed "DRAGON AGE" the loudest.

I traded my Physical Copies of Dragon Age being my PS3 Games since they are No Longer Relevant & Matter, since no Normal Direct Import being like Previous games or how Mass Effect Trilogy did. Leave it to New Consoles to Screw Up Everything, PS3-360 should have had Normal Import I can understand on PS4, X1, PC but on PS3-360 they should have LEFT IT ALONE.

 

I also Deleted my Saves & I also Deleted my DLC from my PS3, & I will probably play Inquisition DEFAULT like My Friend is. Since I still do not Understand How DK APP will Upload Into my PS3 or how it Imports Keep Choices into PS3 INQUISITION.

 

I do have an Origins Account but Still for me DK APP is still Confusing & I have seen the Q & A & The Video even I am more than confused than ever. So I am Skipping DK APP, but I will do my DELUXE DLC Add Ons.

 

I got about 40 Something from my Dragon Age Games, but my DLC is a Waist since you can not get Money from DLC. So I guess I just waisted about 60 Dollars on DLC.

 

They can never Make anything SIMPLE THESE DAYS, That is why I WANT DIRECT IMPORT - NOT DK APP.

 

Simple & Easy Compared to DK APP, with DI It just Uploads my Previous Saves with DK APP you have to be a Rocket Scientist to Figure our how It Works then How to UPLOAD IT.

I understand your frustration, but I personally think the Keep is a way simpler method of uploading our choices in the next installment. Plus, the Keep is gonna be there for all future installments of the Dragon Age saga. And don't blame the new consoles, the devs wanted to use something that would repair the bugs already present when your data was imported into the game. If you want, you can see this as a "necessary setback" (although this is clearly not my opinion). Also, you didn't waste any money with the two Dragon Age games and DLC. The experience of actually playing the game is still very important to DA fans ("nothing beats actually playing the game"). I know I will replay them over and over again, even though the Keep now exists.

 

But I must say I'm biased. I fell in love with the idea of the Keep ever since it was announced.

How are the games you have played a waste and why should you even get money back for something you have played? There is a reason why games will become digital only because games have gotten too expensive to make and developers can't recoup the cost of development as long as the second hand market exists.

And the Keep is not remotely that complicated. If you can figure out how to post on this forum I don't see what makes the Keep that hard to understand. Maybe it is confusing because you continue to refer to it as an app despite having been told a million times it is not an app. Do you think this forum is also an app?

I assumed it was just the capitalised words made the lettters of the code, and the numbers were just numbers. I tried that though, and it was invalid.

So you want them to make two completely different imports that might not work exactly and then people will be upset with them because they are "forcing them to use the one they don't want to" or "to get a proper import you are forcing me to buy the old version"?

Route 66 is a name, therefor capitalised. It was a tricky misdirection. The code was claimed though, apparently. Congrats to ye who got it.

Guess what? They completely fubarred the direct import from DAO to DAII. That is why direct import is getting dropped (in part) because it was too complicated for them and also to hide how badly they had messed that up.

 

Also the Keep is not an App. I'm pretty sure you have been told this before, but trying again can't hurt.

There is a very good chance people are taking it out of context. It probably only loads an image instead of a face code because I just doubt BSN ever loaded face codes. And in the XML file is there even information about your character's appearance?
