The people who have gotten in weren't based upon when they applied though, even before the code give-a-ways.  It was based upon what you filled out and if you fulfill a role as a tester

Which is now evidently no longer necessary, as they are giving away codes to those whose sole quality is being faster than others. That said, even assuming a good number of people now vying for those codes, weren't many those who applied at the start of the beta registration even faster than those who get the codes right now?

 

 

This is what I meant with "peculiar distribution philosophy", it doesn't make much sense.

I'd still say those who applied on first day would take precedence over random people on Twitter a couple months later.

 

I get they aren't giving their codes out by time of registration, but if they are just randomly giving away codes, it would be nice if those that actually applied first would get in too.

 

That's just my biased opinion, but I am entitled to at least that.

Pretty sure that the "random" people on twitter are also people who signed up for the keep early. I know I signed up the first day. Just sayin. Let's not assume that everyone who got a code just heard about the keep when they saw the code?

Yeah. I signed up within the first two hours and have been regretting how I formatted my application ever since soon after that moment. Which also makes me one of the fans crazy enough to hit F5 hundreds of times in hopes of getting a key. Very glad I finally got one.

We're probably not going straight into the Keep once we get in. We'll most likely be forwarded to the NDA signing process before anything else.

i have no intention of breaking the NDA nor will i attempt to rub salt in anyones wounds.. i really do feel bad that they haven't moved into open beta. I still kinda hope they open it up on the 7th or something.

You should be taken to EA's Terms of Use right after registering your code, and right after that it will take you to the Keep NDA. You need to agree to both of those to be placed in the waiting list.

I am not in the beta, and frankly, I am even pleased about it.

 

I asked to help with stress testing in the appropriate place, which is something that should start in the next 3-4 weeks (assuming that all goes well, of course).

 

I can wait ( maybe not with the patience of a Jedi, but I can do it).

You'd think they'd grant access to other people too, like say those that registered for the beta on the same day it was announced. But nope ...

I applied the moment the site went up.

If I hadn't been lucky enough to score a code from Twitter, I would still be waiting.

I consider myself a hardcore Dragon Age fan, even though I don't have creative talent to show it through cosplay or YouTube videos. I poured my heart out in my application statement, and it hurt a lot to be passed over every time invites went out.

The wait has been hard. But it's almost over, for ALL of us.

I've tried to apply for the keep a few times, but I never get the survey. I just click the button and it says "thanks for applying". I might have spammed Bioware with applications by now, but I just thought it might be a bug? Or did I apply too late?

That's what it says when you have already applied (completed the survey). Either you did and forgot or someone used your account to apply?

That's weird... Well, I haven't gotten in either way, so I guess I'll have to wait to find out or until release.
