So I had an idea about the Maximum 5 World-States at a time (which really bugs me since there are 6 Origin Stories). Feel free to tear this apart since I just need to write it down before it clogs my brain again.
We keep hearing about how the Keep will eventually track data from DAI and make updates by itself, right? Well I wonder if it would be possible to upload more than that. I know we can't upload from DAO or DAII, but since they already have a feature like that planned for DAI I wonder if it might be able to be changed from just the most recent choice to the whole World-State. Not every time or automatically, but a separate function. That way we could build a World-State, import it to DAI and use a character to save it, then rinse and repeat until we run out of character slots, and if we wanted to see a World-State we had to erase to make room in the Keep, we could upload from the character. I know console gamers got seven or eight slots with the last two games, so that gives us more room to work with, and it might be worth the extra time in the beginning if they're World-States we want to see continue on, not just fool around with to see what happens. Or if you're fooling around and find it does something cool in DAI that you want to keep, but you already deleted it and can't remember your choices. I know I've got seven World-States I'd like to see make it into (presumed)future games without having to write everything down so I can reenter it into the Keep later on.
Then again, maybe the Keep will be so fun we won't mind the half-hour (full hour?) of reentering!
Anyway, that's my half-baked "what-if" idea for the month.
