What I was referring to was the problem where there isn't a portal, only the "sign up" or "FAQ" options. If there was a separate portal available, it would resolve the issue of people being unable to access the NDA, and not understanding why they keep getting the same splash screen.
It just makes it more convenient for potential testers.
If your code has been redeemed by you the page where it says thank you for signing up automatically changes to the NDA, and when you are let init again automatically changes to the keep itself.
You can check if you have been made a paticipant by clicking on your username in the top right of the screen, selecting my profile, then you select Games.
It will list off what games you have but because the keep is considered a game, then it will list if you have applied and also if you are now a participant in the beta.
If you are not i'd check the code again and re enter it,, but making sure to click the next the second time it appears as the first time just checks what the code is for, the second time actually activates the code for your account.

Does anyone know if save files can be synced into the Keep if they haven't completed the story? I was wondering because I haven't beaten a Dragon Age II save and Im not sure if I have to beat it for it to work, or if I can just wait for the Keep to be open and simply port it and make the rest of the choices I didn't make later on.
They don't sync to the Keep at all. The only thing that gets synced is: name, race, gender, and class. You will have to create your world state from scratch.

no save file importing. Only origin and portrait along with name.
What that means is you can have a character thats only just started and put them into the keep

Not all things have been loaded into the Keep. It's still in Beta.
Ah okay yeah was just wondering since I'm not in beta myself and took that option in my last mage playthrough, I particularly noticed it missing.

There will be no syncing or anything of past save files. As far as that goes, forget you even played the other games. Due to all the bugs with the save files and to allow people to easily switch platforms now and in the future, they have decided to go with The Keep and you will have an interactive video hosted by Varric telling you what happened and then you can change things as you wish. Inquisition will however sync with the Keep, where it will be there for future games, as far as I understand. Check out the videos people posted in this thread for more information on how it works, but again there will be NO importing of any kind.

perhaps it like me the message like
Priority Beta Access Confirmed!
You now have priority access to the Closed Beta! We will update our Twitter account .... and let you know when you can log into the DA Keep. While you're waiting, you can also visit the private Lobby forum to learn more about the DA Keep and the Closed Beta. If you have any questions, send us an email at .....

Okay, so things I'd like to see?
Hands down, let us "break" the Bethany/Carver rules. I totally want my mage Hawke to have her sister by her side, Carver is annoying. I usually take him on the Deep Roads expedition and leave Anders behind, just cause I hate Carver that much. On the occasions where I do end up with him as a Templar, I use cheats to set him to 100 Friendly so he'll be less of a jerk later on...

Thanks. Although, I actually did all of that the first time.
The problem was, after entering the code, the Keep didn't take me to the NDA, but back to the splash screen informing me that I would have to wait for a code (remember, the code had already been entered at this point.)
Even hours later, with the link provided in the earlier response, I was still taken to the same splash page, not a sign in or sign out portal.
Even now, if I go to the Dragon Age Keep website, there is no portal to sign in or sign out.
If there was a button (like the one on TBF forums and Origin that you refer to in your post) at the top right that linked to a sign in/sign out portal, it would resolve the issue.
I'm sure there are software and security reasons for why there isn't an accessible sign in/sign out portal, but it would be much more convenient for potential testers if there was (hence the suggestion.)

Meh. To me this is like saying you want an option for Alistair to kill the Archdemon even though Loghain was made a Warden. Sure, I can get this scenario if I play on the PC and mod it in... But there's no reason for Bioware to change the lore to accommodate me.
I still have no issue with Bioware forcing players who want to see Bethany to make their Hawke a rogue or warrior.

The keep though is about fixing not breaking worldstates

There is a sign-in portal, but it doesnt show you to sign out. Try heading to it in incognito mode (or delete the cookies for the forum and keep page)

It was mentioned in the twitch cast thingamajig yesterday that the Varric voice thing (I forgot the proper name they used) isn't going to be in the beta for one or two more beta builds....I mean obviously it is in their internal beta builds, but based on what they said yesterday external beta testers do not get to listen to his sexy voice yet.

Geeze, waiting to be moved from "Priority Beta Access" to actually being in the Keep is WAY more torture than no actually having a code. Signing the NDA at 2:25 am yesterday morning means I should get in...tomorrow sometime? Does that sound right?

Probably Monday for the most recent batch then.

it will be worth the wait
I suggest watching some Game of Thrones to make the wait less tortuous

Hi everyone! I'm part of The Dialogue Wheel, a DA podcast, and we got to do two Keep Q&As this week - one with Ability Drain and Da Fan, the other with Fernando Melo and Leah. If you'd like, I've got the videos behind the spoiler cut. I'm also going to be adding the voice only files to our RSS feed shortly.
Thanks!

from the Sera Thread!
- 1) Open Origin --> top left corner "origin" tab --> Redeem Code -----> type in code, or
- 2) http://activate.ea.com -----> Redeem code
- 3) Once code redeemed go to https://dragonagekeep.com/en_US/
- 4) IMPORTANT, if you are already logged in you will need to log out and login again for the code redemption to be recognised.
- 5) READ AND ACCEPT THE NDA AGREEMENT - BioWare are letting people into the Keep in batches, so you won't be added to the waiting list until you've accepted the NDA (thanks /u/themightygerm)
- 6) Bioware say access should happen a few days after you accept the NDA. Check the Twitter feed or just keep going to the Dragon Age Keep. You'll get in when you get in.

If I have different saves from different story options that I played in the past on my computer that I created in the Keep can I play any of them at any time or I am I forced to play only one Keep creation at a time unless I visit the keep again?
Can we have more than one save for each Keep creation so we can go back to a previous save and select a different outcome?
