Do i need to create a new da2 game to recreate the look of my bald/bearded hawke mage?
Doesn't matter, the Keep does not import your Warden's or Hawke's appearances.

When you chose make/female hawke in keep is there more than 2 choices?
there are hawkes for all classes just as there are wardens for all origins & classes. Otherwise what would be the point?

I am assuming you are asking this question to determine if you can change the appearance of Hawke or not but we already know that if Hawke would make an appearance we would be able to alter said appearance. Considering the Keep doesn't allow you to change the appearance of Hawke, the only possible place to do so would be in the actual game. And this makes sense too considering the character customization of DAI runs on the Frostbite 3 engine and running that through just a website (the Keep) has all kinds of technical hurdles.Ok thanks. Saves me time. Does the artwork for the female Hawke match whats shown on the trailer?

Further render distance, crisper texture. More background npc's . More impressive lighting. Seems to be the consensus
I thought so^^ But I guess I can live with having these limitations^^ For now, at least. Thanks for the info^^

I was wondering that myself, and you have a point; it would be hard to import a person's features from one engine to the other. Hope you are right! Character creation just got two hours longer.

I thought that in the demo they released, you could import your Warden's and Hawke's appearances?

No. They have character portraits based on your character's class and gender, but that's it.

You import a character portrait from your BSN profile, so that you can identify the character, but that portrait does not have the info required to duplicate your previous character's appearance in game.I thought that in the demo they released, you could import your Warden's and Hawke's appearances?

Will I be able to import an unfinished Warden or Hawke into the Keep? Meaning, I started another play through on DAO but I may not finish before the Keep comes out. Will that Warden be available to use for a World state? And I am assuming I should be able to choose any of my Hawkes to piggy back on to that Warden, right?

Yes, you'll just have to manually fill out the choices you hadn't made yet.

You have to manually pick all the choices for finished games as well, so no change there.

Yep, you're good to go.

Choices are NOT auto-filled in the Keep.

I saw a video by some beta testers where a guys DA:O and DA: II choices were pulled in. Or maybe it was his achievements. I can't recall. Anyway, whatever it pulled in he was allowed to go in and change choices but all items in the tapestry were auto selected before he changed them. So it is auto selecting something.

Its showing the default world state. The same state you would have if you chose to play the game without using the keep.
The changes he was making are the changes you make if you wish to make a world state with the choices/ decisions you made in the previous games.
It's been stated many many times by bioware staff that selecting a custom hawke/ warden does not auto select choices for you, said characters are just used to help you distinguish between said characters by incorporating their portrait, sex, race and class only, nothing more.
