Where'd you get the 5% figure from.

I was wondering the same thing. Solely based on the amount of extra invites recently it has got to be a far higher percentage than that vaguely remembering close to 5 % was the number prior to the influx of testers. It has got to be close to 25 % by now.

Also, will they even have an actual stress test?

IIRC, it was said sometime in July that only about 5% of the applicants for the Keep beta had gotten in.

Now, there was PAX, and the Keeper invites...  But the idea that all of those invites went to applicants seems rather silly to me.  Sure, the high estimate is probably around 25% of applicants have gotten an invite into the beta.  But I figure the more realistic number is around 15% of applicants are in the Keep beta as of now.

What should be the "stress test" threshold?  I'd think they'd want closer to 90-100% of those who have applied via the website, if Bioware wanted to ensure it could handle the load of traffic when Inquisition comes out.  But the real question is whether or not they would do such a test for beta purposes(ie, open beta), or said test is done on the "release day" of the Keep...

Greetings everyone. Long time forum lurker here, who has finaly decide to come out of the shadows.

I have tried to search the internet (and this thread aswell) to find an answear for a question that has been bothering me...but, I havn't found a proper confirmation.

If I've played through DAO, DAA and DA2 on the same console, will I need to use the keep to transfer my world, or can I just do it straight in the console, like with previous titles and Mass Effect?

I am a bit worried about it, since I am rather unsure if the keep can run on any computer (and mine is...a bit on the old side), and that I have a friend that has never had an internet connection to her Xbox, and would thus be stuck with the default setting when playing Inquisition.

There is no direct save import, you will have to use the Keep, if you don't want to play the default world state.

The Keep is a website, so it should run on any online device, even smartphones and old computers. If you can write on this foroum, you should be able to use the Keep.

As for your friend, you only need a one time internet connection to set up your game with the world state from the Keep. So maybe she could take her Xbox to you (or someone else) that one time?

(Most, if not all, of these infos could have been found in the first post of this thread.)

You won't be able to import saves into DAI, if thats what you mean by world state.

If your pc can handle running the forums here then you are good, heck even your mobile device could run the keep if you have a modern smartphone, also your xbox and playstation browsers can run the keep. You could get your friend to call over, hook her xbox up to your internet for 2mins and she will be good to go.

Honestly, its not as difficult to use as some people are assuming its going to be. So be a good friend invite her over for dinner and hook up her xbox for a few mins, or get her to bring her tv, hook both of yours up and have a quick MP match.

Thanks for the confirmation guys. I was uncertain about it, since the posts on the first page was a long time ago (and thus, a subject to change). It's also good to know that the keep is run by the web browser, instead of needing to be downloaded  :)

if you go to twitch.tv/bioware you can watch the keep livestream replays (if you want to spoil yourself before it's available for all)

often people ask about the keep i was as you before and i m on the beta don't stress to much about it, you need between 15 to 30 minute to make your world state after that save it and ready to import to dragon age inquisition .

Sorry if this has already been asked but 200+ pages is a lot to search through, has it been confirmed yet how many world-states you can have saved on the keep at once? I've got a feeling the answers 5 but I'd like to double check.
Thanks in advance.

Well there are still at least two weeks till its intended release. We'll see then whether the devs feel it is ready or if there will be a delay to fix stuff.

I agree 10 should be more than enough, thanks for the speedy answer.

They will have things they want to add up to release and beyond. Ideally keep will keep updating and serve future DAI content (dlc, expansions) and future dragon age games.

As for when it gets public release we will see. They have shown quite a bit of it more and more though so I would say that is a good sign.

Hi everyone,

Hope you all well.

I have a question and hoping someone can help please.

I lost my DAO and DA2 Saves which included data of me completing both games including all the DLC. Will there be a copy of those world states still be on my Origin Account? If not, can I pick and edit other playthroughs for both games where I have not completed either game and select states including those where events occur within DLC that I have not played in those other playthroughs?

Thanks.

As long as your playthroughs were synced online, you'll be fine.

Your Origin world state is not imported into the Keep. Everyone has to manually set or edit their world states in the Keep. Also, everyone has access to all choices in the Keep even if they don't own any of the DLC or any of the previous games.

The keep pulls 4 things from LBSN. The name, The origin, Gender & portrait. No story data

I know, I had the hope it would but a lot of people still seem to think that there is save importing through BSN. I wished they had never shown the BSN link to the Keep in the first Keep video because I believe that is when more people started with the believe they could import more than just a few things.

It didnt help. But people would still be asking/thinking about save importing
