Does anyone know if/when the next update is planned?  I saw pictures (somewhere... it's early here and I haven't had coffee) from one of the expos (or something, again early morning) that had choices about some things that aren't currently choices in the keep.

Why would you need to rent either game though? Data from neither game imports into the Keep other than so.e very basic stuff.

It also seems that some people think we are syncing savegame data for your heroes, based on the videos; there's not been any change for that since the most recent FAQ, and we still don't have any direct importing of savegame plot data. You'll have to customize your world state whether your heroes are imported or not, unless you are happy with whatever the default is. What you can do is select which hero is in your world state, vs. the world state for your hero.

I even asked the mods by reporting the OP's post to change the thread title after the video came out because the thread title made people believe that save importing was a thing. They pretty much immediately changed the thread title to make it more clearer that there is no save game importing. So whatever you saw in the Keep video is only what the developers have told us and never your gameplay decisions in the previous games

Ya, thats what I saw. My worry is that a lot of my data seems some how corrupted for DA:O somehow.

 

And for DA2, idk.

The only things you will miss out on are your personal character image and achievements. Neither changes anything for DAI.

really?  my impression is that they will draw information from your bioware profiles so u do not have to remember every single choice. Are there really like 300 choices?

No choices are imported. The videos keep confusing people, but really, no choices are imported through the character/achievement sync.

The only information drawn is char name, char profile picture, class, race, gender, and origin. Everything else you will have to remember or guess. As for the number of choices, they have said 300, but I dunno if that refers to the number of questions of the number of possible answers to those questions. They have stated however that they are adding more, so fun times if you have a bunch of characters you want to remake.
