Well, that means one of two things:  1) The Keep team was not being very honest last Friday when they said that everyone who applied for the beta(before it closed) would get in before it opens to all... Or 2) Those who say they applied but haven't gotten in, didn't actually apply to the beta, even if they think they did...

I'm in the same boat as you; I signed up I think back in march or earlier in the year... I've even tried just signing into the keep; I just get "the beta is now closed"

 

Same thing when I try to login.

I definitely applied, filled out the form and sent it and all that.

 

Oh well.  I know it isn't long now until open beta anyway, but it's disappointing after hearing all remaining applicants would get invites today.

Try logging into the Keep site. Lots of emails get lost or end up in spam. I think someone even said it was in their promotions folder.

Well they could have misinterpreted what I said, but I did tweet them asking if that was the last invite wave. So check spam.

Yeah if you don't tell gmail to assume emails from @bioware.com are important, it considers them the same as emails from origin

I know.  That's why I never said "released" in the post you quoted.  An open beta is open to all, after all...

 

I assume "invited beta" leads to "everyone who applied beta" leads to "open release to everyone".  So the open beta would mean "open to everyone who applied to be in the beta", rather than "open to everyone including those who did not apply to be in the beta", which would be the final release.  Which therefore means they would not be lying as you suggested in your (1) previously, which is the point I was trying to make.  Point (2) I am unable to comment on, but that seems entirely possible, I guess, in a few cases.

 

 

Pedantic post is pedantic.  Lets move on to how awesome the Keep is instead!

Ahhh... although it could also mean that they will get their invites for  the Open Beta before the beta opens.  Since the beta works by invite.  How else would they get into the beta otherwise? 

 

Best to assume that a trio of jokey people working without a solid script won't clearly say exactly what they mean to say when they aren't webcast professionals (or amateurs).  They mumble and mispeak stuff all the time on these live streams.  That seems more likely than some improbable lying double-dealing or whatever it is you're suggesting.

I finally got my BETA Keep Invite but I have a Few Questions regarding it.

 

1. I don't have a Twitter Account would I still be able to use BETA Keep Invite.

 

2. I assume NDA means Non-Disclosure Agreement, meaning I can not discuss anything before it is released to the general public.

 

3. I am on 56K Dial Up at Home, & I am using Windows 7 with Chrome Google as my Browser can I use DK Keep on my Dial Up Connection.

 

4. Can I take my PS3 to my Relatives Home when I do my DLC Add-Ons when I do my DELUXE Gear DLC then Upload my Inquisition's World State into my PS3 Inquisition Game.

 

5. I don't have my Dragon Age 2 game anymore, So how can I re-create the Same Hawke I had from my PS3 Dragon Age which she was FEMALE MAGE Hawke being LVL 26 she Didn't Side with Either Side & her Romance was Isabella.

 

6. How are Choices Made in the Keep is it like a Q & A Deal, Multiple Choice, or Slider Bar deal. Or being similar towards ME 2's GENESIS.

 

Sorry for the Questions, I am trying to get some sense out of the Closed BETA I got, & make sure I don't SCREW ANYTHING UP.

 

Also making sure I can do it here at Home on my Laptop then Upload my Keep state to my PS3 when I go to my Relatives.

It could be either... Some have reported that logging out of their Origin account, and then trying to log into the Keep worked, as well.

Cant wait to Get Started, Is the Keep Suppose to be an Easy Process I don't want to watch the Videos all I wanna do is make Choices then Save my World State.

 

Are they options where we can Skip Vids & Narration.

You could either randomly attempt to log into the Keep, or just keep an eye out on the Twitter thread here. People post in there when they stay something on Twitter.

 

@Whatnow12012:  Yes, I would go ahead and sign the NDA now so that when they go through and give everyone who signed access tomorrow you'll be able to get in. You'll use your Origin log-in credentials, which is the same for the BSN forums here. 

 

I'm not sure, but your final question might only be answerable in the Beta forum (which you'll have access to tomorrow when they give us access).

We can't answer specifics of how the keep works. That's what the NDA means. You'll need to wait until you're in and ask your questions in the Keep Beta section of the forum.
