I confess to some confusion with importing.  Based on http://forum.bioware...ge-keep-faqs/, 

 

This suggests that all we are importing are the race, class, image, and maybe a few other details and nothing else?  We'll have to recreate the rest of the universe by hand?  I got the impression from DA:O hero selection that it would import more when details about who romanced whom and who killed the dragon were shown.

 

Is this correct?

 

Won't that mean there will be a lot more activity on the site when DA:I goes live as so many people will have to be on for much, much longer to build up their world states?

 

What you quoted is correct.  Nothing is imported about your Warden/Hawke except for race, class, sex, portrait, and name.

 

And it only means there will be a lot of activity on the Keep when DAI comes out if those who buy DAI on day one don't ever visit the Keep prior to the game coming out.  After all, you'll be able to create your own world state tomorrow(when the Keep starts it's open beta).  So you'll only be rushing to finish if you take your time over the next 20 days before DAI releases....

None of your world information imports, so yes, you'll have to choose all of that in the Keep.

Presumably, many people will have their World States already created prior to launch. They'll just snag that information via the website, through the game. Everyone will be doing it at different times and even days with the staggered release. I wouldn't worry about it clogging.

One thing I am curious about.  Since the info the we put into the keep changes things about the game, does this mean that people who don't use a "custom" keep will all had these decisions (from DAO and DA2) made for them one way or another?  Will the default game state be the same for all players who don't create one?  Or perhaps randomized? (which I think would be kinda cool)

I think It'll be the same as bioware cannon as the keep has a default layout. (Dead female elf warden and male mage hawke)

It's all the same for everyone, such as Alistair being king.

This is a misconception, by no means is this default world state bioware's canon.

They actually talked about it in last week's twitchstream (Link, at around 23:15). They said they couldn't say if it's canon or non, but they did say that the default worldstate in the Keep is the one that will appear in DAI.

...It isn't going anywhere. You could wait a week and it would still be there (possibly with less bugs and probably with faster speeds).

From what heard it should be open beta. But I'm in Sweden and I am just redirected to the teaser page when I try to log in

You're using a browser we don't support on the Dragon Age Keep.

Please use one of the supported browsers for the best experience with the Keep. I just hit Ignore button and was able to start....

Have you tried deleting cookies and all temporary internet files, turning on and off? I'm not being a dick here these are things that I find literally help me with websites
