Great! I was also wondering if the "default world state" in the game is actually "saved" in the game and not "downloaded" from the Keep as I managed to delete the "default world state" that is in the Keep when it's started for the first time while I tried to get my own "file" saved? I now have two "files" saved there: the one I created and one "blank" one which basically is just an unmodified one that hets created from the +-button.

I had to create the blank one because I got paranoid and started to think that maybe the "default world state" option is not available in game because I accidentially deleted the "original one" while trying to get my created one saved.

Default options happen if you don't connect to the Keep so they have to be on disc.

Yeah and I just realized The Keep asks us ONE FILE which it connects to the game so the "default world in game" just can't be that blank file there. I'm just so pumped for this game that I'm starting to get paranoid and see problems everywhere even though there aren't any problems :D

I just hope the sync with Keep and Default World will go nicely at launch and everyone gets to play. The Keep is an awesome tool but it's a tool online and to get it to work people have to get into internet/PSN/XBLive and The Keep servers have to stay alive and running even when there will be hundreds of thousands of players setting their choices and downloading them into their game. I just hope everything goes smoothly...

Hey.

Can PlayStation 4 owners share the Dragon Age Inquisition moments with Share Play?

re: syncing

Personally, I like having the thumbnail and custom first name for my characters in Keep. The tiny details are what really make it special.

Which is why I'd like the option to edit the names of the defaults, personally. The syncing thing has never worked well for me (even back on the old BSN for avatars), so I'm using the default characters in the Keep. Their names and portraits bug me though... like you say, the tiny details. In this case, reminding me that they are defaults.

I'd imagine so, or is Share Play capability a Developer decision? Isn't it built into the PS4 OS? (I don't have a PS4 myself, I just saw a friend broadcasting Destiny a few weeks ago, and it looked like it was the OS itself doing it, not the game)

You could load up the game, create your character, save, and then sync them into the Keep without finishing the playthrough to get custom names and portraits.

Well, I do not know either. That's why I ask.

It is a very cool feature. Maybe BioWare set up an Koorp possibility into Inquisition, too. Than can an other player join the Singleparties in battles, local and online.

I saw this feature in X-Men Legens 2 and it was a fun.

Hmm, okay here is all the info I was able to find on it... http://www.playstati...ealed/#/slide/1 Seems that yes, developers MAY be able to opt-out, although only Alpha and Beta was given as an example.   Also, my previous quote I misunderstood what this new "SharePlay" thing was, I thought it was just the Twitch streaming... that's what my friend was doing.

This is a keep thread questions about the game can have their own ones.

You only need an internet connection for the keep. No Xbox live or PS plus.

Name changing is being looked into. But you can always try the standalone cc for DA:o

I've made most of my decisions in the keep. Didn't have any major problems or anything worth pointing out negatively. It's a great addition and definitely
worth investing your time into even if it does take an hour or two to make all of the decisions per world state.

I have a question for when the game arrives... I have 3 accounts on my PS4:

1 - PSN account/profile that I use to download things from PSN. (I don't have PS+)
2 - My other non-PSN profile I prefer to play all of my games on.
3 - My brother's profile that he prefers to play all of the games on. (again it's a non-PSN account)

Does the world state data have to be accessed in-game on my PSN account/profile only?
Or can I use this Origin account on my other non-PSN profile (which I'm willing to connect to online with for the keep).
Could my brother then make an Origin account and use the keep on his non-PSN profile?

and another question not really keep related... (soz)

Will Bioware/EA tie any of the deluxe edition content to the PSN account only... locking content off from other profiles
on the machine? UFC did this IIRC and I couldn't use Bruce Lee on my other profiles. I hated that.

You'll log into your Origin account to access the Keep when in the game.

I can't speak for Playstation, but any DLC stuff was available on all profiles with Xbox.

The Keep is tied to your ORIGIN account.  As long as you can access the internet, you're good to go.

As for the DLC, that's hard to say as I've not had a PS3 long enough to know for sure, But I can tell you the Xbox answer....  More than likely it will be tied to the account that purchased it.  I know with Microsoft say that I purchase some DLC and download it to MY Xbox that is registered to ME. My Xbox is itself is "licensed" to that DLC.  Anyone playing on MY Xbox can play any DLC regardless of if my profile is logged in.  However, if I go over to my friend's house and log in, then download the DLC, then it only works when I am signed in to Xbox Live.  When I go home, my friend will not be able to play my DLC.

I assume PSN works the same way, but I can't be sure.

Hopefully someone with a PS3 longer than me can verify if PSN works the same as Xbox Live in this regard.

EDIT:  Hmm, not sure if this is relevant to DLC, but I think it might be http://www.ancientcl...ccount-pla-r232 says that PS4 digital games are tied to the account, so while you can play them on ANY PS4, you must use your account... I'd imagine DLC is the same way.   So, looks like if your brother wants to play the game under his own account, he may be required by Sony to have his own copy of the game, at least for the DLC.

I would be playing ONLY on the console that purchased the DLC. Sometimes games lock content only to the store profile and the other profiles

even on the same machine can't use it. Fable 2 I believe did this and Bruce Lee.

Maybe the safest bet is just to have me and my brother both play on the PSN profile. Hopefully saves will be in the same way they were with

DA2 and not like how Skyrim or Fallout handles saves. As multiple people on the same profile with Skyrim or Fallout save system would suck.

Okay, Actually try this and see if your Bruce Lee DLC works!  http://manuals.plays...activation.html

How did Skyrim do it differently? Forget which save slot is yours? That's the only way I recall it would be an issue with Skyrim when I played it.

DA2 has a career folder for each character IIRC. Sky/FO would stack the saves... and it would get confusing/messy.

OH yeah I'm sure that Bioware will continue that especially since DAO did it that way too.  So did all three Mass Effect games!  So yeah, you both should be good to go on the same account :D  I hated that in Skyrim myself, and it was just me playing... but I'd be always "Now wait... who am I playing? Okay... make sure... hmmm yes this is right... WAIT NO OH CRAP.. "

The Keep is tied to your ORIGIN account.  As long as you can access the internet, you're good to go.

Now, it's been a year since I've touched a PS3 or PS4... But as I recall, you cannot connect to the internet through the Playstation without a PSN account.  You don't need to get PS+, but you still need the account to access online stuffs(like the PS store, or in-game downloads like the Keep).  Xbox Live is the same way.  You don't need Gold status, but you at least need Silver(free Xbox Live) in order to connect to the Internet and download things.

What that means is, while you don't need to use the accounts that have PSN access to play Inquisition(or any of the associated DLCs), if you want to import a world state from the Keep, you need to connect to the internet, and thus you need to use your PSN account to do so.

So, yes, the Keep connects to your Origin account, but Origin connects to your PSN(or Xbox Live) profile in order to give you the information from the Keep....

When I play the video of my choices, Varric says the Urn of Sacred Ashes dissapeared. But in my game I killed the dragon and the urn was discovered. Am I doing something wrong here or is this the new canon if you didn't poison the ashes?
