I don't even know what that is, i take it those that pre-order direct from Origin get to play DAI before the street date?
Subscription service with the XBOne. They get 6 hours of game time 5 days early.

Close.
Those as pre-order thru the X-box store, and pay approx $5 get it 5 days earlier than everyone else.

Wow. That surprises me.
It's always been that way, in fact that was a way that players used to "cheat" to get custom avatars on the old Bioware forums where you had to pick either a default avatar or one of your game character portraits. So, they would save the game and then put some other image in the folder with the same file name as the portrait, then set it to read only, then play the game for a bit so that it would upload. It was always one of those things you weren't technically supposed to do, but as long as it wasn't an offensive or inappropriate image, BIoware pretty much didn't care. In this case, it's even less of a problem since all you are getting uploaded now is the headshot, from the game itself. So, since the mods aren't against the rules, neither is the avatars (although, if they were full body Rose Amell (purple haired girl, currently my avatar as of those posting) might be an issue, that dress is definitely M rated)
You are close as well but not quite.
I preordered through GameStop but because I have an Xbox one and an ea access pass I will receive 6 hours of content which spans the character creator and the beginning of the game on November 13.
What the tweet is referring to is that our world state in the Keep is going to transfer to our play of the game on the 13th as if we had the game, and our progress over those 6 hours will progress over on the 18th but we don't have to preorder digitally or through Xbox one and it is not the whole game.
Okay, BOO on that. PC users should be able to get the same deal, especially since I've prepaid over half of my preorder at Gamestop and plan to pay off the rest prior to the game's release.

No I know they could do it with other things. I was just surprised since they said mods wouldn't carry over into DAI, I just assumed for everything in general.
Well, they don't. But what they mean is that like for example, if I modded my my game so that Rose Amell (my female mage) could romance Morrigan, that will not carry over into the Keep. But, the avatars since they are essentially a screenshot, it has nothing to do with mods carrying over, unless you didnt' know the game uploaded portraits, which then yes it does.

This looks really freaking complicated. And I'm going to "import" this thing to my game, right?
I would hardly consider it complicated, and yes DAI gets a world state from the Keep. This looks really freaking complicated. And I'm going to "import" this thing to my game, right?
The keep is ridiculously simple. Go into it; set the tiles, choose a hero, tell it to export and Voilà!

I'm just a very easily confused person. I'm surprised I've even gotten this far in school.

If you get completely stuck (and I'm sure you won't, once you get started!), post a question in the DA Keep forum instead of this more general DA Inquisition one.
There are a lot of people there who have been playing with the Keep for quite a while now, and most are pretty good about helping out.
although this thread is as good a place as any

Yeah, we don't bite.... unless you are into that sort of thing. No judgement.
Has there been any word on when they're going to officially release DA Keep? I was signed up for the Beta, and have made a few changes from my previous playthroughs, so I'm all set there.
I'm wondering when we'll get to play the recently announced Dragon Age - The Last Court text-RPG on DA Keep.
We're only 11 days away from release so I'd hope they'll have it up and running soon.
As I understand it, the Keep is supposed to be 100% ready by the time EA access releases DAI for it's trial, so that people can import a worldstate into DAI. Meaning every tile that affects Inquisition should be bug-free at that point. But that doesn't mean that Bioware will announce that the Keep is "officially released"...
The Last Court is supposed to be available sometime next week(I would assume, that at the latest it'd be the 13th, when DAI's trail on EA Access starts).
Yeah, we don't bite....
I do.

Don't know if this is the right place to ask this.
But why can't I help Yevhen find his sons in the Deep Roads if Nathaniel is alive and I rescue him?

The quests were mutually exclusive in DA2. There was a bug in Awakening that meant not taking Nathaniel during the final battle flagged him as dead when he was actually still alive, and so you'd have Yevhen's quest show up in DA2. This shouldn't be possible. If Nathaniel is alive you get his quest, if he's dead you get Yevhen's.

Okay, that explains it, though it does ask the question if he'll appear in Inquisition together with smaller characters like the girl and her dad whom you can save when you recruit Shale.
So has anyone posted the perfect world state yet?
So has anyone posted the perfect world state yet?
Define "perfect world state", because it's all subjective.
After all, any world state that has the Ferelden and Kirkwall Circles not annulled, will never be considered "perfect" by me... And I'm 100% certain that there are people who feel the opposite.
Hello everyone,
Sorry if this has been asked already, but I need to know.
Maybe it is an obvious questions, but since we can't create a character in the Dragon Age Keep, can we assume that the Hero of Ferelden will not appear (visually at least) on DAI?
I know that there is a DAO Character Creator, but It wont work for console players.
Thanks!
