Good for Bioware, I was wondering how they would handle this, and my fear was that any solution would not be comprehensive. But from the sound of this, the Keep will be comprehensive and include every meaningful choice, consequence and plot flag. I am pretty excited to check it out!

This is a great solution for two reasons. There is the obvious issue of crossing platforms or engines. It also allows players to explore an alternative choice without having to play through two full games in order to change one or two things. It will make replaying DA:I a lot more accessible.

I'm still going to replay both games.  It's been 2 years or so as of now and I need a refresher. LOL.Posted Image

Looks good.

But I wonder, Hmmm....Couldn't they just put this into the game itself? Or maybe it would have messed up something?

I think they are doing seperately for the people that are switching between platforms especially if they are looking at importing your old saves to Dragon Age Keep.

god bless maybe this will mean my zevran romance will finally import correctly in a game instead of him acting like it never happened or acting like my warden is dead

I just started a new DAO recently, I figure with the other games I have to play that I should be done with BA2 and expansions by this time next year.

How stating Warden's and Hawke's attributes will affect Da:I I wonder.

Most likely you can design their face as close to the original ones as you wish, and level them up as you do when you create your own character.

I am beginning to suspect they might show up in the game. Maybe as allies in the final battle in the game? That would give the inquisitor enough time to get to their level.

This is going to be a very useful tool, but I have no desire to beta test it for them.

I don't think I understand. I'm on Xbox. So how it is going to work with my importing save ?

You can fix everything in the Keep, OR you can import your saves.

There is already some communcation between XBox and the pc as has been seen in ME multuplayer.  I would assume that your Xbox will have to have an internet connection.

"How did you modify your Warden and Hawke."

Well now, I wonder if this includes or specifically refers to appearance. This could be a hint they might make an appearance.

edit: The ninjas are invading!

Here is a thought. You have to fight one of them. Picking a side. Kill the warden or kill Hawke :)

But what if they don't come til later? Remember how your Shepard's levels were rendered in from game to game? You weren't level 56 Shepard in ME2 because you were 56 in ME.

It is some sort of save generator? If yes this is great idea.

This is exactly what I was hoping for.

Thank you BioWare, it's a great idea.

edit: However, I wonder if we'll still be able to import our save if we're keeping the same console (Xbox360 to Xbox360, PS3 to PS3 and PC to PC).

In theory it sounds great.  It seems like an import generator that goes further by giving players the ability to customize elements that aren't available in a strict save import (such as transferring your previous characters' faces, general dispositions, etc.). My only hope is that Dragon Age Keep features a much more extensive set of choices than what were available for Mass Effect Genesis.

More or less that's the idea, yes. I severely doubt that the Warden or Hawke make more than a cameo, even that, in Inquisition. So hold your horses, sirs and ladies Don't overanalyse the import of attributes.. For example it could be useful for Inquisition to know through your saves that Hawke was a mage, for, lets say, a line of dialogue in which Leliana talk about him/her. Things like that.

In that case, there's going to be loads of dead Hawkes.
